I chose to support nycfc because I am from New York and just started to get into soccer. I would rather support them since I have no attachment to Barcelona or London or Manchester. I enjoy watching the big euro teams tho. Like the big cl matches and Clasicos and derbies.
I just wish this forced "football culture" in the us would go away. It makes us look so cheap and gimmicky. It just looks like a business trying to squeeze every penny they can out of a new franchise instead of a fun new team in a developing sport.
