It's time for The Big One: the original and the best World Darts Championship returns for its 39th running from the home of darts: Lakeside.
Admittedly, calling the BDO's World Championship the best isn't strictly accurate, given most of their winners (and losers) in recent years have jumped ship to the PDC, but at least this year the reigning champion Scott Mitchell will actually be around to defend his title, unlike Stephen Bunting last year. In the women's draw, Lisa Ashton is aiming to make it three wins on the trot to become the first woman since Trina Gulliver to achieve this feat.
Coverage starts from 1:00pm on BBC One before switching to BBC Two at 4:30pm. The evening session starts at 6:30pm on BT Sport 2.
All men's matches are best of 5 sets in the preliminary and first rounds, while all women's matches are best of 3 sets until the final.
