I live in Bakersfield and literally no one goes to JAM games they play in a 400 person arena that some hospital built as a tax write off. You cant buy tickets online or at the gate and they dont advertise at all

Because the state has over 30+ Million people. It has about as many people as Canada.
It has that many teams because the market can support that many teams. Some of it's 'suburb' cities have larger and richer populations than many states' largest cities.
