South Yorkshire police had an awful reputation in the 80s, they would literally beat people to a pulp on the basis of pre-empting a parking violation or whatever. If they are innocent I will eat my own bollocks, I'm confident of that much.

A sad reality about crush and fire disasters like these is that the eldery and the young are much more likely to die. At the bradford disaster there were a bunch of old people whos bodies were still in their seats. Its all about how you react in the initial panic and chaos, and the eldery and the young are already fighting the odds.

For Hillsborough, I would not be surprised if it were a plot by the establishment to humble 'football hooligans' and kill Liverpudlians.
Many aspects of the incident, such as delays on the M62, poor stadium and stand selection, and negligent police leadership seem not only to have been avoidable, but deliberately arranged.

I remember seeing the fire on the news here back then. It got quite a lot of coverage and a number of venues reviewed their fire procedures just in case. As for deliberate actions at Hillsborough....Only way i can think about it is in the Perfect Storm concept. Too many things going bad at the same time and create a complete disaster.

Police weren't organised and reacted way too slowly, the scousers breaking into the ground should be held just as responsible as them though.
