1. Hire a competent FO and coaching staff who aren't in love with meme players.
2. Identify a charismatic and down to earth player and make him team captain, doesn't need to be a pro bowler each year, but someone that makes the team play better and make fans buy jerseys/tickets, something similar to Jason Taylor .

Change the helmets.
The dual-color theory is a unique enough idea, but the metallic/matte finish is horrid. I'd probably pick to do a full matte finish and contrast the transition between the two better. I'd also darken/edgy up the logo a tad and definitely keep the crest logo with the new main logo on it.
Actual football stuff; I'd build an oline and grab a few more stud defensive players, specifically the secondary. I legitimately think this team is a gew years away from being a playoff contender (especially if the Clots stay down). Yeldon is ok, potentially another young RB a few years down the road may be needed as well, but Thomas is hitting is stirde, the Allen Bros. look great (though the crew is too thin and oft-injured behind them, imo) and Borts looks solid, but needs a bit more polish.
I'd also begin a twitter campaign, #jagtheworld when I had what I thought was a playoff worthy team on my hands. Because that's what the kids are into these days.
