Why though? The Hawks O-line is still shit, and their defense is nothing like it has been in the last two years.

The only positive improvement I've seen out of the entire team is that russel wilson is looking like he can finally pocket pass at the level of a high school Varsity Quarterback.

A bandwagon fan is a fan who switches teams in order to "hop on the bandwagon" of a winning team. Recent notable examples include Seakeks fans from last year, who were the worst fans on /sp/ but today are nowhere to be found. Pats fans are not bandwagon because we have been here this whole time, and aren't going anywhere.

You want to point to a bandwagon fanbase? Look at the seakeks. They are the textbook definition of a bandwagon fanbase, and a passing fad/trend.

a year later, their offensive coordinator was hired to be the head coach at another program, that already had an established cast of top offensive players that he could ride to cover up his flaws

The offense was dramatically shifted away from what it was "tailored" to do because Manning was so old and broken he literally could not take snaps from under center anymore, so they had to do all that retarded pistol shit to try and protect him. Now that Brock is at QB they're actually doing what Kubiak had gameplanned for.

Osweiler is a QB built entirely for Kubiak's offenses that he's run in both Houston and Baltimore. They have said repeatedly that he has taken plenty of first team snaps this season, more than in previous years.

You failed to address the fact that Manning threw 17 picks. Manning is not getting his job back when he is "healthy" and the Broncos would be fucking retarded to put him back in with the way Osweiler has played. He isn't the starter anymore.

I'm not trying to make excuses for the Patriots, they fucking lost and Denver was just as hurt, but Osweiler is unequivocally the starter and is part of Denver's long-term plans.

Ben acts like he suffers a season ending injury everytime he gets hit, and has to get carted off the field after hurting his knee and foot. The big pussy misses games every single season. Meanwhile elite Joe Flacco tears an ACL and MCL and stays on the field to get his team within field goal range to win the game.

Panthers are definitely better than the remaining teams on their schedule, that doesn't mean they'll win every game.

A few unlucky fumbles or dropped passes can be a 14 point swing in favor of the other team, which is very hard to overcome. The Patriots were able to go 16-0 because they had a few historically dominant offensive players who could score almost at will, so even if the team played poorly they could overcome those mistakes, the Panthers don't have that luxury.

Even with a 75% chance to win all their remaining games it's very likely they'll drop one

I applied the formula I used to rate the league's results against their schedule to every week this season, except I had to cut off the first few weeks because the numbers were useless until week 4. The week number for each point is the rating for that team AFTER all of that week's games were played. If the rating went up after a loss or down after a win, it's because the OTHER games already played at that point ended up looking better/worse in retrospect, not because it was a "quality loss" or shit like that. Reminder that the ratings are meant to be descriptive, not predictive, and that the rating at each week reflects how the entire season's results looked at that time.

Actually the tuck rule was in place to remove the guess work about what is it a pass or fumble.

It reduced every play to:
ball moving forward = pass,
ball moving backwards = fumble.

Instead of making the refs decide if the QB was tucking the ball, pump faking, or throwing.

In Brady's case, the ball was moving forward so it was an incomplete pass, they called it correctly.
