they really have not had a good win all year long. barely beat louisville and notre dame. sure they are good, but would get BTFO against a real team like Ohio State.

Honestly this playoff is going to end up just like the 2013 championship game, and undeserving and weak #1 team will get destroyed by Alabama
>>
Oklahoma or MSU is going to win, they have the best QBs
>>
>>63896259
MSU is legit tbhfam. I dont know how the defense played so good against OSU, but if they play that good in the playoffs with a healthy Cook they will steamroll everyone.
>>
They'll lose to Bama, but if they get Oklahoma or MSU in the finals then they're gold.
>>
>>63896696
Oklahoma and MSU are both better than Bama
>>
Ohio State would fucking kill every team outside of Bama, who they would still beat.

they've turned into Wisconsin of 2014

Translation: I don't even watch football and i have no idea what i'm talking about
>>
>>63897083

You mean the bowl Iowa will play in, since you know, they actually won their division and played for a conference championship?
>>
>>63897139

Those would be the people ranking Bama blindly at #2 despite not having a big win and having a loss to Ole Piss.

the Alabama Derrick Henrys are going to be keked as soon as they face an offense that they can't keep up with or a defense like MSU's
>>
>>63897101
They have the best defense of the bunch, the 2nd best offense, and the best coaching. Bama is the favorite.
>>
>>63897229
they do not have a better offense than Oklahoma or MSU
>>
>>63895255
who looks like a juggernaut this year? Of course they have a chance, they have good talent position players and a nasty front 7.
>>
>>63897223
Oklahoma lost to Texas and doesn't have a big win because they play in the Big 12.
Michigan State has a big win in Ohio State, but was lucky to beat Michigan and lost to fucking Nebraska.
Clemson has 2 big wins in ND and Florida State, but didn't look like world beaters all year.

tl;dr every team is bad but Bama is the least bad.
>>
>>63895255

they have two top 10 wins still. better than Iowa, tOSU, Bama so far
>>

ACC championship and B1G championships are going to feature two teams who have literally not played a single team of note. Big 12 champion lost to fucking Texas. Nobody is good, deal with it.

Good thing Nebraska isn't in!
Good thing Texas isn't in!

Ole Miss is a way better team than Texas and Nebraska.
>>
>>63897411
pointing out that other teams are clearly flawed doesn't actually make your team better. You're all similarly shit.

certainly that's not difficult for you to understand, right?
>>
Their one dimensional offense is gonna get exposed. They wont be able to run Henry 40 times a game against competent defense and their QB is shit.
>>
>>63897411
Louisville is who you were looking for. Or the Booty Blasters.
>>
>>63897442
and way worse than the other cfp teams, which is the only relevant point to be discussed there.
>>
>>63897397
I'm pointing out that a loss to 9-3 Ole Miss is less damning than losses to teams that aren't even going to bowl games.
>>
I hate Bama fans, but you have to admit Bama's losses lately are usually on some flukey nonsense like the Auburn FG return or Ole Miss getting literally every bounce imaginable and still barely beating them. But yea Bamafags are insufferable and I hope Henry breaks his leg
>>
>>63897411
>*insert shit ACC team they barely beat* again!
A win is a win, at least them and Iowa are undefeated. They won the games they should have, can't say the same about Bama, even though for some reason people don't think Bama lost to Ole Miss and just ignore it
>>
>>63897409

>this delusion

hahahaha
>>
>>63897516
people don't take Iowa seriously because they had a conference schedule without the three best teams, which is one of the many reasons these oversized conferences are dumb.
>>
>>63897498
No, it is not. You implied Bama's loss made them bad. But Bama's loss is way better than Okie and MSU's.
>>
>>63897508

They aren't flukes, it's football. I'm an OSU fan but I'm not going to pout and cry about the phantom PI call that set Michigan State up for an easy touchdown. Playing teams close enough to be beaten by them on shit like that is still your fault.
>>
>>63897409
Even if you disagree with their respective rankings, ND, Oregon, Michigan, and OSU are undoubtedly "of note"
>>
>>63897531
What delusion? My team is out of the playoffs, but Bama are clearly the team to beat this year.
>>
>>63897207
the second highest ranked big 10 team will go to the rose bowl

the loser of MSU v Iowa will fall below Ohio State
>>
>>63897516
So you want Bama kicked out for losing to Sugar Bowl bound 9-3 Ole Miss but are fine with MSU and Okie who both lost to teams who won't even make a bowl? Face it, you are nothing but a jealous hater.
>>
>>63897585
I was saying Iowa and North Carolina have played nobody of note. Worded a little weirdly I guess. But the guy was saying "HERF DERF ESS EEE CEE HAS FLORIDA LMAO" and I'm pointing out that the ACC and B1G championships have teams that are probably worse than Florida in them.
>>
>>63897561
I didn't imply that, you inferred it. I was pointing out that assuming Bama is going to "wreck through the playoffs" is stupid because they've lost to the best team they played this year, who is a 9-3 team in the ~15 range, and that you can't say that their 1-2 losses each of the past few years are all flukes.
>>
>>63897585
I thought he meant UNC and Iowa
>>
>>63897640
>and I'm pointing out that the ACC and B1G championships have teams that are probably worse than Florida in them.
The B1G championship is between Iowa and MSU. Do you really think those teams are both worse than Florida?
>>
MSU shut down Elliot who is much better than Henry.

If Cook stays healthy MSU has a very good shot at winning it all
>>
>>63897587

No they aren't. They look pathetic. They needed to forcefeed 46 carries to Henry to scrape by a categorically shitty Auburn team. They don't have a single statement win and are riddled with exposable flaws. I'd easily go with Clemson over them for the mere fact that Clemson hasn't been shown to be beatable to this point, but Bama clearly has.

If I'm a team in the CFP I want to face Bama first round.
>>
Deshaun is the truth

that's as close as you can get in college football, yeah alabama will probably win but Clemson has a threat at qb and rb and can ride it like tosu last year

What are you talking about? ND and Louisville showed that they are, in fact, beatable. Those two just couldn't get the job done.

No one is ignoring that loss. People are ignoring Oklahoma getting their ass beat by Texas. People are ignoring MSU losing to fucking Nebraska and should've lost to Michigan. None of those teams are even marginally good (won't even make bowls) aside from Michigan who got beat by every decent team they played. Everyone wants to say "b-but Bama lost to le Ole Piss XD!" I don't necessarily disagree, besides Florida and Georgia who are worse than half the teams on that schedule.

I would have to think Indiana and Penn State could easily go undefeated with the same schedule as well, along with all the Pac 12, and most of the Big 12.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that Kansas State would probably have a similar record. UNC's schedule is laughably bad

Bama fag here. I think we can take Michigan State and Clemson if we play average to good. Oklahoma we'd be fucked though unless Coker gets his shit together and plays to the best of his ability (auburn was honestly the worst game he's played imo).

Yes bama lost to Ole Miss. But that really doesn't matter at this point if bama beats florida so stop bringing it up. The team showed some resolve at the end and without some of the receivers dropping catchable passes at the end, they would have won.

My ideal world is we match up with Michigan state for the first round and then clemson eliminates oklahoma because they're probably the best team all around.

>>63899354

They'd be where UNC is now
Hopeless
>>
Clemson is probably going to get destroyed by whoever they face first, they are not playing like a good football team right now, particularly their defense.

I see Oklahoma as basically Baylor from last year. An explosive passing offense that is going to lose because they shoot themselves in the foot by being so one dimensional, they don't really have the option to run out the clock and can't shut down an offense.

Alabama is strong as fuck on both sides of the ball but have just dominated every team they've faced since their early season loss. Their defense is not a question but their offense is pretty run orientated and hasn't faced a real dominant defense yet.

Michigan State has an over aggresive defense that forces a lot of turnovers and 3 and outs in exchange for giving up a lot of big plays. Their offense is balanced. They should beat Clemson easily but might lose to Alabama or Oklahoma unless they can force a few turnovers.
>>
>>63899328
better than having a meme offense pass all over our secondary
>>
>>63899414

who would get in over them if they were 12-1 ACC champs with wins over ND, FSU, and UNC? a 2 loss pac 12 champion? no. ND? No, not with clemson having the H2H. A non conference champion one loss B1G team? No. A 2 or 3 loss SEC non champion? No.

there cant be a two loss SEC champion retard. Clemson would get in over a 3 loss UF SEC champion or a 2 loss bama who didnt win the SEC. Theyd also get it over tOSU and the loser of Iowa/MSU. Clemson would also have 3 quality wins to Stanfords 1-2 with one less loss.

>>63899423
