>By this time tomorrow all of the major sports icons of the 90s will have retired

Anyone else struggling to accept the fact that they're getting old and are seeing your generation of athletes go to the rocking chair?
>>
But the athletes of my generation are Messi, Neymar, LeBron, Curry, Brady... I will miss Federer though. And McCaw I'm glad he's not playing anymore.
>>
Does anyone else think football (soccer) players are becoming more athletic and less technical? I see all these young players who can run the field but can't dribble past a tree.

What the fuck, dude. I was born in 1990, I don't even remember any athletes that played during the 90's except Michael Jordan because of Space Jam.

He was like 6 years old when most of those guys were in their prime. He remembers Ewing as much as I remember Bird and Magic.
>>
>>63716903
I think the 1990 generation would be Kobr, Shaq, Tom Brady, LT, Terrell Owens, Zidane, Fatnaldo, and Del Piero.
>>

Jagr is still going strong.

10 year from now LeBron will probably be in his last year, not playing like real LeBron obviously though. Averaging like 12/15 MPG, all the others will be gone though.

Those were the athletes that had their prime in the 90's. A person born in the late 80's or 90's wouldn't "have that generation" of athletes. It would be the athletes that had their prime in the early 2000's.

I am 26 myself and couldnt give a shit before I was a teenager about sports outside playing myself.
Our "time" was around 2003-2010. Still in time for watching Michael Schumacher wipe the floor with the competition for example but waaay too late for Michael Jordan and others.
