To be fair, a lot of shit franchises say their QBs are the GOAT (or close to it). Luck, Flacco, Romo etc... even Kaep at one point. Obviously one of them is going to be right eventually.

This desu. Even during the early Brady years Patriots fans were smart. It wasn't until 2007 that the fanbase took a nosedive. They got overly cocky and a shitload of bandwagoners outside of new england started to dickride them. 18-1 and Brady tearing his ACL calmed them down again only to go back to being cocky and delusional in the 2010s. Pats need a few shit seasons to fix the fanbase again. Bledsoe/Early Brady era was the best combination of fanbase intelligence vs team performance.

But those fucking moments are on Super Sunday and on the biggest stage of all, and he did it against teams that basically already had their name on the trophy.

All arguments are only relevant when they are against the guy you don't like. There are 5 great QBs in the league right now 10 good to really good and the rest are average or worse. No one, no matter how good they become can be the GOAT. Not Montana, Not Brady, Not some random QB 50 years from now that wins five straight titles, no one.
