It's literally impossible to play proper basketball with Durant/Westbrook on the same team.
They draw way too much attention on defense that it always ends up being ISO ball since the other team is afraid of doubling one or the other.
The real change on OKC this year is how fucking shit their switches on D are. The only reason they may look better than in the past is because Westbrook has improved quite a bit, but their offensive gameplan still looks the exact same. I never said they would be better or win it. They can learn to pass the ball more but no other teams have two offensive juggernauts that work in ISO, so no other defense plays other teams like they do OKC.
Todays games is a good example of what happens when you try doubling Westbrook on switches and what OKC could potentially "be". But how many teams will take a chance on doubling a passer as good as him? So smart teams will leave them with the one on one and Durant/Westbrook love ISO too much to not take that offer on.
I will say I think OKC could win a championship if they had a super elite defense though and slowed the pace down, but when they picked up Kanter for the max that option went out the window.
