And there is a reason for that too. Which other club would go through a drug scandal, have propaganda flung at them for 3 years, biased umpiring and rigged fixtures yet still come out of it all relatively unscathed?

You don't even have to understand the rules honestly, there's like ~120 to keep track of. Just cheer when a call goes the way of the team you're supporting and flip your shit and punch a woman when it doesn't. I'm not an AFL or NRL fan and always resent the fact that so much of our talent goes to these sports no one plays when instead we could dominate international competitions more. I guess at least NRL has a 'world cup' and players can convert to Union.
