Just four teams left... how long will they last, and who will be the first to go?
>>
Punthers and Broncu<ks will be gone after this weekend
>>
>>63362254
I don't think the Pats will lose this year. It's a painful thought..
>>
>>63362254
First team to lose will be the Panthers. They've gotten extremely lucky.
>>
Div rival beats the Pats that will beat the Broncos that will beat the Bengals

And some div rival will beat the Panthers
>>
God, if you exist, please make PooPoo PeyPey go even more noodle arm and send the Buncos to 7-9 in spite of their defense, or at least get him booted from the roster. This man's success, whilst still being seen as the good guy relative to Brady, is disgusting. Peyton Manning is an awful human being.
>>
Who else feels like @Colts is a trap game for Broncos? They usually choke vs them in the Manning era

not happening unless Luck lives up to his last name and/or injuries in the Broncos secondary

>Panthers v. Pack
most likely of the three remaining games this week.

One team is now confirmed to move on to Week 10. Now, we wait. And shitpost about who will choke and who will join the Bengals.
>>
In 1996 while attending the University of Tennessee, Manning, while being examined by a female trainer, pulled down his shorts and sat on the trainers face. He proceeded to rub his rectum and testicles on the woman's face until she was able to free herself from him.[228][229] Within hours of the incident, the trainer reported Manning's actions to the Sexual Assault Crisis Center in Knoxville.[230] Manning claimed that he never actually did what the trainer accused and was just mooning teammate from across the room. Despite Manning's rebuke, several eyewitnesses have confirmed the trainer's story. According to court documents, Manning taunted the trainer by re-enacting the incident on two occasions and called her a "bitch" after she attempted to give him a drug test. The trainer settled with the university for $300,000 and left the school. Later in Manning's autobiography, Manning described the trainer as having a "vulgar mouth". As a result of this comment, the trainer was demoted from her job as Program Director at Florida Southern College. Copies of Manning's book were distributed on the campus and the trainer received threatening letters. The trainer sued for defamation, resulting in an undisclosed settlement and a court ordered gag on Manning ever talking about the incident ever again. Court documents raised question about Manning's veracity. In denying a request Judge Harvey A. Kornstein stated "[e]ven if the plaintiff is a public figure, the evidence of the record contains sufficient evidence to satisfy the court that a genuine issue of material fact exists that would allow a jury to find, by clear and convincing evidence, the existence of actual malice of the part of the defendants", going on to say that "there is evidence of record, substantial enough to suggest that the defendants knew that the passages in question were false". [231] In 2005, Manning was forced to resettle after violating the court's gag order and discussing the incident on ESPN. [232]

>Donks
Manning a shit, Elway a shit. They'll go strong into the postseason and choke, and everyone will act surprised for half a week and then go back to normal.

>Dorito Dinks
Goodell is gonna go full Vince McMahon one of these days, and it's going to be fucking hilarious.
>>
>>63362254
Jest fan here, I wouldn't mind the Pats or Bungles winning the Superbowl, Bradley and Dalton are alright guys, Eifert is so fun to watch, and Belchek's contrarian ways are so intriguing. But really, the last thing we need is laptops Newton becoming the next le scramble color QB to win a Superb Owl or PooPoo PeyPey getting more media love, fuck Manning, and I don't really hate Newton, but the media reaction to another QB of his nature winning would be awful. It annoys me so much when people say Peyton is the good guy against "le cheating Belchek Bradley xD" when every team in the NFL cheats, but not every QB is such a narcissist that he thinks it's okay to sexually assault someone over an argument, then continue to ruin their career after having them paid off. May Peyton Manning rest in hell.
>>
I don't think the Patriots will go undefeated.

I don't think any other team will either, by the way.

While I hope the Patriots go undefeated, crush whoever shows up in the SB, and Brady wins unanimous MVP just as a big fuck you to everyone else, I don't think it'll happen. There has been way to much hype on this team from the very beginning and that's never a good thing. When a team dominates, no one really expects it.
>>
I'd prefer the Bengals win, it'd be nice to have another team that's never won the owl finally get a ring.

Panthers are a joke running off luck and a cupcake schedule

Panthers lose this week (week 9) vs GB (who FINALLY beat a winning team on the road... they have to eventually)
Bengals lose week 11 @ Arizona.
Broncos lose week 11 vs the Patriots.

Patriots go 19-0. If the Pats beat the Broncos that pretty much means 16-0 regular season and at home in the AFC means SB and no team in the NFC is as good as them.

Brady beat the 2011 Broncos, who had a pretty damn good defense too. Put up over 40 points in Mile High.
>>
You'd favor the Pats normally in this upcoming Brady/Manning. But that Broncos D is on another level, it honestly tops the 85 Bears at this stage, it doesn't matter how Brady is looking now and how much Peyton fucks up, that game is in Denver, Brady doesn't have a chance.
>>
>>63375026
Except when your quarterback is Tim Tebow, your defense is going to spend a LOT of time on the field. It's no wonder BB and Brady put up over 40 on them.
>>
>>63375146

Have you seen how godawful the Broncos' offense is this year? No, one game of decent performance doesn't mean shit. The Patriots would have to throw the game away in order to lose against the shitty Broncos.
>>
I've no doubt the Packers will show up to Carolina to play ball, unlike Denver.

I think I'd still give a slight edge to Carolina though.
>>
>>63375176
Tom Brady literally can't play in Mile High.

>59.6% completion
>231 average passing yards per game
>10/5 TD/INT
>2/4 Win/Loss

And now he has to face the best Denver D he's ever faced in the only place in football he doesn't have a winning record at.
>>

Carolina has a cakewalk schedule. If they beat GB this week they could easily stay undefeated and GB has been pretty mediocre on the road.

Patriots play both the Broncos and the Bengals later this year and I can't see either of those teams beating them. Broncos probably give Brady more trouble than the Bungles will but the Pats still win the game. Pats stay undefeated.

>>
>>63376458
Fantasy has convinced people that defense doesn't matter, whoever has the best fantasy players wins games. This makes them think that the Broncos are shit.

People forget that defense wins real football games, and Denver's defense is better than the 2013 Seahawks defense.

You realize the seahawks literally, undeniably, were given a win this year against the lions due to a ref not knowing the rules right?

You realize the seahawks beat the 2win Cowboys by 1 point due, in large part, to the refs fucking up and allowing Seattle to call 2 timeouts in a row to avoid giving the Cowboys a redzone first down? then they gave Seattle a touchdown that was clearly not a touchdown

Panthers are going to be the next to go. Chasing a 1.000 season is a foolish cause because each game adds more unnecessary tension. They will get BTFO by the Packers and it won't even be an interesting game to watch.

There are people that still do not understand the concept of a decoy game. I'm not saying the Packers threw the game, but it's possible they weren't really trying to win.

Think about it, losing to the Broncos doesn't hurt their chances at all for a first seed in the playoffs, losing to the Panthers would. Knowing that, the Packers played to trick the Panthers into preparing for faux weaknesses.

Do you really think Aaron Rodgers getting held to 77 yards is legitimate? It would be very easy for the offensive line to just play like shit on purpose, without making it obvious causing the Panthers to prepare thinking they are going against a struggling O Line.

Same goes for the defense. Denver exploited the same soft coverage/wide open middle of the field that the Chargers did. The defense didn't look much worse than against the Chargers. Now Carolina is going to gameplan their offense based on this "weakness", that has likely been corrected.
>>
>>63379229
Pretending to have a weak O line has no real advantage in game planning though, either you get pressure on the QB or you don't.

Sometimes late in the season teams will play simpler defenses against teams they may meet in the playoffs, but i doubt the Packers would do this so early against a non-conference opponent, they just played poorly naturally, it happens.
>>
>>63376902
>Needing Refs to bail Megatron out of fumbling into the endzone
>Needing Refs when Wifebeater can't beat Seattlels Oline even once for a sack

tbf if the linebacker hadn't batted Megatron's fumble out, the refs probably would have just called it an incomplete pass.
>>
>>63362254
>who will be the first to go?

OBVIOUSLY the panthers
>>
>>63372893
The shitposting would be off the charts.
>>
Of the 4 undefeated teams, none of them are the best teams in the NFL. The best team is the Packers.

1. Patriots played all shit teams with sub .500 records, except for the jets who ALSO played sub .500 teams... until they lost to the raiders. The AFC East is a Joke. Patriots will get their shit kicked in by Eli and his Autism cycle. Then they get their shit kicked in by the Broncos. Then they have an easy schedule for the rest of the way. 14-2 and lose to only good teams.

2. Panthers are shit for the same reason as the patriots. Cam Newton is a shit QB.

3. Broncos have Peyton and his Chicken Parm Arm.

4. Bengals will lose their first playoff game like every season.

On the other hand. Aaron Godgers will get home field advantage and wreck the NFC.
