When I go ton AMWF dating sites I find that most Asian men are no better or worse than other men in terms of temperament and political attitudes. A disproportionate number of them tend to be insecure of their physical features and mostly pursue non-Asian women for sexual conquest. A smaller portion see relationships with non-Asian women as a sort of trophy, a testament to interracial relationships that they can be proud of.
I'm not particularly impressed by the non-Asian women (the WF is a misnomer) on these sites either, who cling to popular Asian male archetypes rarely deviate from the Eastern beauty standard. They graft conservative Asian values on men who were raised disproportionately on Western values. Some of them want to culturally assimilate, and overcome some sort of perceived inferiority complex with regard to the Asian female.
There's a lot of self-deception that happens on AMWF sites, and users do fetishize each other; they denounce it just to be politically correct.
I don't think this should dissuade anyone from pursuing an AMXF relationship, but word of advice: be realistic about your goals and your potential partner.
