if you're on tinder. But tinder is more for fucking than anything I guess. Even outside that, mostly yeah you're going to pick the profile of the most physically appealing people to talk to first.
But, if you think about it, is it really that much different from the process IRL?
You pick the person you're most physically attracted to first, see if their personality is compatible, if yes great you win, if not back to square one.

Who knows Quasimodo over there might be the most interesting and engaging chick you'll ever meet, and may be perfect for you in every way possible. But I bet you won't talk to her first, I bet you'll talk to the much more physically appealing chicks first, just like everyone else.
Because when everything is a blank slate and you know nothing about anyone in the room, you cant talk to them all so you have to pick one.You're going to have to rank them somehow, and how they look is going to be the easiest.
