NZFAGS or tourists in New Zealand

any photographers on here? I'm in Auckland, headed to Taupo/Ruapehu OR Mt Taranaki, anyone wanna join? I have 2 seats left, bring your camera and money for lunch/dinner and we'll probably split for petrol. It'd be nice if you can drive too, but if you can't its fine, we may stay the night in a motel or something.

i once stayed in a hostel on Lake Tekapo, it was beautiful, and the sky at night was absolutely incredible
i found out the next day that if i've been facing in the opposite direction, i'd have seen the fucking aurora
would visit again
