Exactly why I don't like being as tall as I am. Short distance flights are horror with my long legs. Shopping for pants isn't the problem, I know what sizes I need and I just order them online. But Shirts/Tees/etc are hell, most are too short and slim fit with extra long arm length is expensive af or hard to find.

If being shorter meant I also go down one or two shoe sizes, I'd go for it. Clothes and shoes often go on sale or don't go out of stock as fast because there aren't as many tiny girls out there.
I don't have a specific height I like for men. Anything taller than me is good and that's pretty easy already when you're 5'3. All I really care about physically is the face and beautiful, broad shoulders.

Just realized OP was asking what the ideal height of a hypothetical SO would be, not what our actual SO's height is.
In that case, ideally the same height as me. But anything close in either direction is still really good. So 5'4-5'8 is my ideal range for a partner.

Dude, I always hated being tall. Back in high school, I was the tallest kid in my grade for 2-3 years. Why did I have to be lean without any muscle? Wouldn't it be nice to have some thick arms or muscle to myself? Why am I a freak?
Being somewhat tall sucks ass. Clothes don't fit me right (even a size L looks like a kids hoody on me).
I always wanted to be something like 5'7" with some lean muscle. I'd be a quicker, more agile person.
