For real, though. A friend gave me three pounds of coffee for free (three different kinds, can give the names/descriptors of them if needed) and I'm practically a newbie at coffee.
So, when I grind the beans, how much do I put it compared to how much water? Also, is using something like a nutri-bullet ok to grind the beans?

i literally just eyeball it though. like i do maybe 3 or 4 spoonfuls of coffee to 4 cups of water. idk lol. it usually turns out fine. but if it doesnt i dont care enough

I drink for the 'pleasure' of it. I absolutely hate being drunk as that feeling of not being in control of your body, blacking out, not remember shit sucks. I don't drink to get drunk, however I have gotten drunk while drinking, if that makes sense.
Though, there have been a handful of times where I sought out to drink a lot because of some personal issues.

yep that makes sense, i was just wondering. and yeah, thats pretty normal, ive done the same thing in the past. ive only legit blacked out once but again, i was going through personal issues also + it was halloween and i was away from school so i kind of went too hard. i was luckily with my friends though bc it is scary once you get out of it and have no idea what happened for the past few hours. but never happened to me before or after so theres that haha

Last year, I went to a beer release/festival and I met up a couple of friends there. You were able to bring your own bottles of beer/whatever, so I brought a bottle of beer that's ~19% and a bottle of 12 yr. Van Winkle bourbon. When I started to hang out with the friends, we basically started to chug the beer first and then took turns taking big pulls out of the bourbon. The event went from 10:30am to 10pm and I honestly can't remember a single thing after 3/4pm. Apparently, I ran into another friend there and walked around the grounds for a solid hour, even met his boss and a decent conversation with him. Tons of other stories I heard about myself after the event. lol
But, the times I got seriously messed up on purpose were at home and due to being severely depressed. Shit can suck sometimes.

haha yeah, my friend tells me stories about skipping in front of the cops and we ordered food from this chicken place that i have zero recollection of. and we went to a 2nd frat house that i also have zero recollection of haha. that bottle of kraken i took a pic of one time if you remember, i drank half that bottle, did a few shots + drank prob 3 beers or so and smoked some weed so i was pretty dumb
yep. other times ive drank a lot by myself and on weeknights bc of severe depression. i feel you. i usually hate drinking when im sad or mad but, depression changes that a little lol. its really a wonder im not an alcoholic

No, haha. We do have yeast exchanges with them though! We give them beer and they reciprocate! (It also helps that they make good beer!) They actually did give us the yeast used to make our saison this year (which saw a rerelease in bombers).
