After Dark Lord Day, I went to Chicago and picked up a lot of stuff. One stop included Half Acre and I picked up 4-5 growlers, with this being one of them. Decent stuff.

To me and quite a few others, growlers are 64 oz and bullets are 32 oz (crowler if it's in a can). I don't know what kind of place has and even fills 16 oz.

Either way, my weekend is here. This is from a brewery by my work, super earthy, almost vegetal, with a great citrus taste and scent. The taste leans more towards barleywine, concerning the maltiness at least, than DIPA but it's still dang good.

So, I went to see Entombed AD here in Indianapolis (for those who know their metal). In any case, after the show, I got to talking to a couple of the members and shared some good beer/mead with them. I ended up talking to them for like 1-2 hours after the show and shared whatever I had with them. The ones that tried it and main guys I was talking to loved it all. We got to talking and, eventually, one of the guys was like, "You should come to the [Chicago] show!" Since I have that day off, I obviously can't say no and will be taking a fuck ton of good beer to share with them once I get in Chicago.
I don't know. Shit like this doesn't happen to me. I'm so damn excited that I can hardly contain myself. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
Anyway, to keep this relevant, I'm now drinking Kuhnhenn's White Devil from the growler. Pictured: It's some of what the guys gave me in return. I'm still astonished that this happened. Fuck..........

maybe my palate was less refined back then but i thought it was delicious as fuck
