Rock, Industrial, Alternative. I don't really like to label stuff too specifically when it comes to music, there's way too much crossover and debate.

>other anons give recommendations, easy peasy
>>23713474
You probably know em, but, VNV, Icon of Coil, Combichrist, Deadstar Assembly, Collide, Android Lust, Wolfsheim, Birthday Massacre, Zeromancer, etc etc. Outside of Industrial, the obvious Puscifer, Placebo, Mogwai, Videodrone, End 7, Mindless Self Indulgence. I dunno, I dont really keep up anymore.
>>

I love Voltaire! I was super excited when I realized they did that one song for Billy and Mandy

>>23713484
do you listen to video game music at all, as lame as I sound asking that? I've found a lot of good orchestral music this way, I've been listening to the Nier soundtrack a lot lately, it's so freaking good, although it's not all orchestral and has some opera mixed in.

I'm FL, but our goth/industrial scene is pretty big in Orlando thankfully (well, as big as it can get)

Kayo Dot is easily my favorite band, so I could recommend their whole genre-defying discography. Actually, I'd say that each of their albums is best enjoyed with the context provided by the rest of their oeuvre. No two tracks are similar on an album, nor are any two albums similar.

This track is pretty goth, so you might enjoy it, too:

Nope, I used to be really into black metal a couple of years ago. I kind of just listened to too much and lost interests. Also it sucks when you are the only person you know who is into black metal.

ahh I love Joyce Manor

you listen to modern baseball at all? and his voice isn't for everyone, it took me a while to get into Brand New because of that, desu, but the lyrics 'spoke' to me.

>>23714100
You rock, I absolutely adore Cursive and still remember being super obsessed with them when I was in high school. I'm pretty sure 2005 is when I was really big into them.

also, I really like that song actually, I seem to be pretty partial to spoopy, deep voices in most of my songs, lmao. And you should definitely check out Rufus, I feel like a lot of people don't get passed his Hallelujah song, he's got a great voice.

>>23714063
Yeah, it's got that clay mation/creepy, sort of sluggish kind of vibe going on for it, which I think a lot of emo bands thought was hard core at the time, especially when everyone was obsessed with Nightmare Before Christmas, Lenore the Cute Little Dead Girl and Johnny the Homicidal Maniac

>>23714106

dude, we still play all the bands that we played in early 2000s on our player, My Chem, AFI, The Used, Bullet, Thursday, Hawthorne Heights, etc.

It's kind of depressing, actually, and we skip the albums when they come on pretty often and we're sick of it, lol

I like classical music the most, especially Catholic sounding stuff with chanting, even though I'm not very religious I find the music to be quite nice and uplifting.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcL4J0pzlAg

However lately, after playing Fallout 4 I've found myself thinking about more sci-fi sounding classical music from the Debussy tracks in there but so far only been listening to film soundtracks, so anything like this next piece I could do with recommendations for.
