I just couldn't really buy into the characters like I could with New Hope. Why are they quipping? Why is Finn acting like an awkward teenager? How is everyone so good with the force after just hearing about it 3 days ago. I just couldn't get into it. Knights of the Old Republic I really do think is one of the best uses of the ying and yang of the force, how light is not pure and dark is not wholly tainted.
That and Empire is basically the perfect movie, structurally and is just enjoyable beginning to end. Can't say I got that from TFA.
