Actually if you keep your metabolism working throughout the day it will keep you leaner than if you just eat 3 meals. So, if you don't eat and then just eat a ton, it's terrible on your weight. Course, I don't know this person eating schedule, but it's just a thing to keep in mind.

Ugh girl don't listen to these assholes. I mean, yes if you got the time/energy/money to do a complete overhaul of your routine to lose the weight, do that. If it will make you happier, do that. But don't do it for someone else. Losing weight is difficult because the body really, really wants you to hold on to fat. And eating regular meals may even help you lose weight, because triggering your starvation mechanism means that you're gonna cling to any calories you're ingesting, regardless of body fat.
Also pretty sure that none of these people have been fat ever, so not the people to go to for weight loss advice.

It's not difficult. People are just uneducated about nutrition and shove food into their face without looking at how many calories they're actually consuming.
She says she eats one meal a day at most, but I bet it's calorie dense shit that provides no proper nutrition while managing to go over the amount of calories a woman her height should be consuming.
All people need to do is look up a calorie calculator online to figure out the number of calories they can eat and add up the calories of what they do eat in a day. Spend $15 on a digital kitchen scale for foods that need to be weighed and that's that.

Except eating healthily is cheaper and more time-efficient than eating unhealthy by a WIDE margin. It's really quite easy.

And you won't Trigger starvation mode by eating within 500 cals of maintenance. Even then, you can go lower without hitting starvation.
Losing weight is really, really not hard if you have a plan and stick to it.
