I'm extremely self-conscious about my voice. Ladies, would a guy with a much deeper than normal voice be a turnoff? I've given up on dating because I'm afraid I'm being judged by the way I sound.

The issue is it's abnormally deep. I get shit from co-workers all time because of it, and it has made me extremely self-conscious. I've never been insulted because of it, but because it has been brought up so often has started to bother me. I want people to judge me for me, not my voice.

Well, people always judge each other. If it's not your voice, it's your weight, your height, your nose... there's always something. I know how you feel, I think we all have something we have a complex about. Perhaps people brought it up in an affectionate manner ?
