I'm going to write. Not because I specifically want to address anyone. I write for wanting to solidify my thoughts in written form, so I write instead of conversing with myself in half lucid internal monologues. These are for everyone and no one.
Recently I caught someone I know saying they will quit smoking for what is probably the twentieth time in this year alone. Being a smoker myself I decided to quit four days ago to demonstrate how easily it can be done. Four days in and I don't even think about tobacco anymore despite being surrounded by smokers. But that guy... he still smokes. What is with people lacking any drive or will? Now that I've lost any interest in drugs I can't find anything to speak about with anyone I know. It's either that or some get rich fast scheme that never has proved to work but oh-it-will-this-time. As I have acquired vision and see clear goals before me, I have acquired will and drive, and almost everyone seems to fade away in what appears to be a bleak caricature of humanity. Whatever I read in books feels more real. And even my own goals seem to achieve insignificance. And my work towards them seems to be short of just being enough. I have all the faults of a self taught man in an increasingly specialised world and it seems that there is still mountains of learning that I have to ascend, but time, oh so dear time, is too little. This mad rush is neither healthy or is it going to bring happiness, but I must do it. I think I want to be Atlas and carry all of the world on my back. Can I do it is an another question. I find that I sacrifice more and more time that I'd normally spend doing nothing in particular towards my goals and with every such sacrifice harden myself more, killing myself and remaking very little there is to remake of myself into something almost unrecognisable to my current self. Am I fatalistic?

I looked at calendar for almost an hour.
Two months to go. April and May until intermediate June. Then come the July and August, the windows that I have to break in order to move on. Within a six week period all of my life will be decided. I'll need to move out, find a job and then work on even a harder regiment that includes my personal studies and wage slavery. If I don't I might as well end it all because it was never meant to be, but it is, I trust that a man can mold his own fate, but that excludes happiness. Still, I dread whatever is bound to happen. So many what ifs. So much uncertain.
If only I wasn't so useless and hadn't wasted whatever time I had in past. But those would be excuses and excuses are too fatal in the face of urgency that my situation demands.
Just work out for me once, my intentions and sincerest hopes.

Your mission is harder and seems to stretch on in essence therefor these sacrifices on larger scale are momentary submissions ?
It will be more complex tho a little in future when new element like you leaving home is introduced
