I think tinder rates people internaly, and not being a good talker seems to downgrade you.
If I manage to get some nice and somewhat long conversation on tinder, I suddenly get more and high quality matches, but if I get a bunch of girls who dont answer my first messages, my number of new matches also falls down significantly.

Sometimes people won't message back regardless of how good you come off, its just the nature of the beast. So don't get bent out of shape if they ignore you completely.
