Responding to the anon from last thread
The two munches I went to were newbie munches. They were informative and easygoing. The first was a presentation on rights and responsibilities by a Leather Daddy. It just laid out some good practices and reality checks for D/S and Master/slave relationships. The other one was about labels and what they mean. I already knew what all of it meant so it wasn't as interesting. It wasn't even that in depth, like what does gender queer mean?
I was nice to sit down and eat with a bunch of kinksters though, big room, no pressure, talk if you want to kinda thing.
I see what you are saying about interviewing for a main. Its not what I want, I don't want to try to push for anything. I just want to go into a potential relationship with some things in mind. Like; I'm poly, I want a close romantic partner, I'm not expecting that from anybody but if that's what they want then all the better. How do I say I want someone with which to invest a majority of our time and energy in each other and still include our other partners?

So what is there to do in the Seattle/Everett/Lynwood areas, for a new couple/first date?
I'm taking a girl out on our first date this Tuesday evening, and so far I have two ideas.
The first is more my style; we would go to a good dinner and spend a lot of time talking there, probably something like Ixtapa (family-run nice mexican place, good food and people), then I'd take her down near the lake, have her cover her eyes, and go down to this lovely little covered dock on the lake, light some tea candles, and have the more romantic setting so either sit on the benches and talk more, or maybe ask her to dance (with a strategically premade playlist of not-overtly-romantic music, chill stuff to slowdance to) and then talk about how i'm feeling, and ask her if she'd like to be a couple. (idk if people are "boyfriend and girlfriend" in our mid 20s)
Basically gonna be like, look, you're amazing, I like you. You're kind and funny, and the most attractive girl i've ever met. You're strong and brilliant, and take my breath away on a daily basis. And i feel comfortable telling you all this, because I'm old enough to know what i want. Call me crazy, but I think we'd make a great couple, and i'm willing to try if you are.
Mostly I just really want to think of something that will give us a lot of time to spend together, talking and stuff, since she's really busy most of the week and this is the best chance to actually spend a lot of time with her, get to know her, and hopefully seal the deal on a relationship. Going to a move seems like not that personal, and there's no chance to talk, just set up some hand holding and cuddling and gettin personal and stuff, but i'd rather spend some more personal kind of time with her.
So i'm trying to find something else we can do, in the evening or later night time, that would let us spend time and talk together, besides going to our places.

Oh man, micro and macro economics were probably the worst classes I took, you'll have a lot of fun with those. They're absolutely useless and based off of such generic and basci scenarios that it couldn't really be applicable to real life. I had to take accounting 101 or something and it's ok, it's just a grind of constant number crunching.

As a musician, it blew me away.

Gideon is not allowed outside. He escaped once when I was out at a friends and was gone for three days. It felt like losing my child. He finally showed up -- the prince himself realized that it's too cold and there's no food outside.

The occasional bear. We find droppings every once in a while. Not like we are in the middle of nowhere, but it's far enough from town that they hang around a bit.
