Anyone have any suggestions on where to start with Metal music? The heaviest band I've listened to is Enter Shikari. So I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to metal.

I started off with system of a down but it really depends on the metal you want to get into I'd recommend wbtbwb it's a silly band that'll get you more into guttural inhale and screeching screaming and distortion which will lead you more into the refined black death ect metals

Besides myself, there was only 1-2 people really getting into DTP and Cynic. But, when BTBAM started, everyone decided to go ape shit. Stayed for only 2 songs just in case they sounded different then the first time I saw. Nope, they still sounded terrible.
But, that's just my opinion and everyone has a favorite band others will hate.
