I didn't like how Community evolved from Season one going forward. It looks like Harmon didn't have an idea where to take the show, that's how he got fired from his own show, then rehired when the people running didn't have an idea either. That's why it got too caught up into the themed episodes which flattened the characters. You can't have dynamic characters and a flat premise or flat characters and a dynamic premise. That's why Britta went from being a girl trying to turn her life around in college with a past she was trying to get away from to a dumb psych major for all the whore jokes, Abed went from awkward nerd to full autism, and Pierce went from lonely old guy taking community college classes (I knew some of these people) to a dumb racist villain of the group. It disappointing me because I loved season 1 so much.

i totally agree about britta, and that is really unfortunate. as far as abed goes though, as someone with full autism, i am happy about that, and honestly, he had autism from the get go, it just wasn't really front and center the way it was later. i agree about pierce too, but i was never a huge fan of the character to begin with.
