26 femanon. bored. got artsy film on the tv while painting my nails. what's everyone else up to? slow ass night here.

pic not related but cool anyway.
>>
That's some interesting art, I'm into art as well. I'm a professional graphic designer.
>>
>>23303029
Not much, sitting around listening to music and looking stuff up online, trying to put off going to bed. Might start reading soon though
>>
>>23303036
nice! i went to film school for 2 years but never make anything, and sadly i didn't make this either i just love it a lot lol
>>
>>23303042
watcha listening to?
>>
>>23303029
Chilling with the boob-tube. Making preparations for tomorrow.
>>
>>23303055
Right now just a mix of some video game and movie soundtracks, and some stuff by Two Steps from Hell
>>
>>23303056
what's goin on tomorrow? we're going to dehydrate some beef for jerky tomorrow. nothing too exciting, but yummy nonetheless.

>>23303063
god i wanna get the soundtrack to the latest wolfenstein. that was phenomenal.
>>
Nice! I haven't actually heard it yet, I have it on steam but have yet to play it. Should def try it soon though I'm listening to stuff from Witcher 3 and AC Revelations
>>
>>23303074
god we just finished the new wolfenstein. excellent all around. i'm straight up skipping revelations, seeing as how much i hated brotherhood and am frustrated with AC on a technical level altogether. Argh.
>>
>>23303079
Yeah true that, Brotherhood pissed me off to no end with the synchronization and time limit crap, Revelations I played just because I loved the Ezio storyline too much haha
>>
>>23303091
brotherhood just has a myriad of problems altogether. control issues, time limits, crappy synchs, yeah it's all over the place. and that ending...god i'm not one who generally cares about endings to things but that wasn't even a cliffhanger. my gf legit almost threw the remote at the tv out of anger.
>>
>>23303067
>Grocery shopping!
>fried chicken!
>>
>>23303105
haha I know how you feel, I had pretty much the same reaction to it. Randomly jumping up walls 20 times before finally going in the direction you were trying to go, You playing on pc or console?
>>
I'm fighting a cold. Been in bed.

>>23303114
sounds good! haven't had friend chicken in ages. i'm making a salad right now, and my gf made curry last night (not a huge fan of indian food but she's a good cook and it's one of those things like soup that's kinda hard to fuck up).
>>
>>23303130
console. 360. yeah the controls have been my biggest issue in the whole franchise. seems 3 and black flag have kinda finally gotten it simplified enough to where it's enjoyable so that's good.

>>23303137
i'm sorry :( i've been fighting hard NOT to get sick, myself. wish i could make you soup or somethin <3
>>
>>23303138
Your gay? Fuck yeah! [Pestering about stupid clichés]
>>
>>23303144
Ohh ok, I play on PC and was losing my shit hah, Haven't played any after Revelations though.

Witcher 3 has kind of taken over rpg's for me now though
>>
>>23303160
why yes i am. i am a tiny gay.

>>23303161
god it's been an rpg year for us. we've been playing skyrim (we moved a lot so not a lot of time for games for a while), fallout new vegas, recently got into dragon age though so far we're both sort of unimpressed. in the summer we blasted through the entire mass effect trilogy cause she hadn't played it yet. lotta rpg action goin on right now lol
>>
What's the artsy film? I go to school for film but mainly the production aspect, I only dabble in film studies.
>>
>>23303207
Nice, I loved Skyrim and FONV, FO3 too, Haven't tried Dragon Age or Mass Effect though. Heard great things about Mass Effect but yeah kind of mixed stuff about Dragon Age
>>
>>23303207
Can I tell a lesbian joke?
>>
>>23303230
Koyaanisqatsi-Life out of Balance. It's just good background noise and it's easy to watch without paying attention to.

>>23303251
I'm lukewarm on New Vegas just cause of the setting and cause it came after FO3 lol plus it was glitchy as FUCK at launch and for a while after. Mass Effect is absolutely amazing. Skyrim is cool which is weird cause I hated the Elder Scrolls series before. I really really disliked both Oblivion AND Morrowwind.

>>23303256
go right ahead!
>>
>>23303260
What does a lesbian bring on a second date?
>>
>>23303144
Thanks for the kind gesture. I got it from my nephew, i watch him in the morning and drop him off to school.
>>
>>23303279
a u-haul. and it's totally true lol

>>23303251
i wanna clarify my earlier statement about my hatred for elder scrolls. it's not necessarily the franchise itself, as much as it is just my general disinterest and dislike for the fantasy genre altogether, in that time period and setting. idk. never did much for me. like scifi way more. my gf's more into the fantasy scene than i am.

>>23303283
of course ^^ i know you said nephew and not son, but i can't wait to have my own kids to catch colds from lol
>>
>>23303293
I know, that why it's the best lesbian joke...
What do you call a lesbian dinosaur?
>>
>>23303293
Ahh ok gotcha, I'm really into the whole medieval fantasy thing most myself. Totally agree on them being buggy as shit though, especially if you're playing on console, I have so many patches running just to fix the screwups in those games. I agree about Morrowind though, I played and finished it, and it really didn't so much for me gameplay wise, Oblivion I haven't played
>>
>>23303307
uh this one i don't know lol what?
>>
>>23303325
A lick-a-lotta-puss
>>
>>23303322
To be fair too, Morrowind was on like, the original Xbox lol so I can't complain too much about it not being that great. I mean, I read lots of Redwall as a kid, but idk if that really qualifies, and my gf is making me read Anne McCaffrey and Mercedes Lackey stuff now, but yeah.
>>
>>23303335
lol indeed. nothing better than eating pussy, besides maybe GETTING eaten out.
>>
>>23303354
I don't know, blow jobs are pretty fun to get...
>>
>>23303293
I'm 36, not a babies daddy but id like to be a father someday. Got close recently but our relationship fell apart.
>>
>>23303029
Reading a therapy book and taking notes because I have therapy tomorrow.

I'm taking internet breaks about every 30 minutes so I don't burn myself out.
>>
>>23303371
I'm sorry to hear that.
33/dad
>>
>>23303363
From my experience, women that really like cunillingus, nothing I've ever experienced would seem to come close.
>>
>>23303363
i guess from the male perspective, sure, but obviously i wouldn't know lol never given one either. never been with a guy.

>>23303371
i wanna be a mommy SO bad, god damn, it really breaks my heart that i'm infertile...

>>23303375
>therapy
>seinfeld
i feel these go hand in hand lol

>>23303387
well i really like cunillingus.
>>
>>23303293
Do you want to adopt or breed?
>>
>>23303375
also my comment in my previous post wasn't poking fun. i like seinfeld and i have been in and out of therapy my entire life. please don't take that the wrong way <3
>>
>>23303393
Well then you should treat me to dinner some time.
>>
>>23303393
You're infertile? IVF wont work?
>>
>>23303393
That gay, huh?
>>
>>23303403
I didn't take it that way. I relate to George's neuroticism. I appreciate his complete lack of confidence and self respect.
>>
>>23303340
Nice, How do you find them?

I'm reading the Witcher series now
>>
>>23303402
adopt. i mean, i can't breed, so...my gf might go that route but that remains to be seen. but i think i like adoption. kids need homes.

>>23303407
nope. i...yeah. it's...it's a really sore spot with me. sorry if i don't elaborate much...

>>23303413
okay good ^^ yeah i love george too for those exact reasons. why curb is so wonderful.

>>23303414
i read about a billion things at once, so i can't say what i think yet lol she has all hardcover copies though.

>>23303411
indeed.
>>
>>23303424
I can breed and adoption could be an option. There are a lot of kids that nend good homes.
>>
>>23303424
Oh, i apologize if i brought up a touchy subject.
>>
>>23303424
yeah definitely. Curb seems to be made to make all of the geroge's watching at home as comically uncomfortable as possible by placing himself in the center of some of the most awkward uncomfortable situations ever.
>>
>>23303424
Ahh yeah true that, I'm like that sometimes but the rare occasion I do find a book that keeps my interest. So far these ones have managed to so I'm pretty stoked lol

here's some hot chick for y'all. anyway, anyone have tattoos or any history with tattoos in any way? i really wanna get sleeves.

>>23303473
not at all sweetie! it just makes me way sad because i really really wanna be a mom and have my own biological kids but hey maybe they can grow some with my DNA or some shit. the future is awesome.

>>23303474
100% agree. i just wish he'd come back even if for just one more season :/

>>23303476
good! i'm glad you found some stuff! i'm currently re-reading house of leaves and some Cormac McCarthy books.
>>
>>23303493
I know! I don't think he's said that it's out of the question. He just does it when he feels like he has a good idea for a season.
>>
>>23303493
5 tattoos
>>
>>23303518
well a few things i've read has had him quoted as saying "i won't do a 'final season', and i'm never doing a series finale again" because people were so buttshit stupid over the seinfeld finale, which honestly, is the only way that show COULD'VE ended because they ruined a lot of lives and needed to pay for it lol

but yeah i really hope he eventually feels he wants to do another. he was on SNL this past week and i about cried from happiness.

>>23303531
i wanna get some floral sleeves that connect across my collarbone and shit. maybe some bird outlines on my wrist. it's gonna be a fun year! what do you have?

shit like this. god. i don't know if i'm jealous of her tattoos or i just wanna bang the living hell out of her lol
>>
>>23303493
The woman i was with could not have children without IVF. I was willing to be the father of her child but stuff happened and we drifted apart.
That would be cool, i want to have a son of my own. It was my fathers wish before he died to have a grandson to carry on his name.
>>
>>23303493
oooh House of Leaves! I have that, haven't read it yet, You find it good?
>>
>>23303540
oh yeah I saw the bernie bit but not the whole episode.
>>
>>23303547
i'm sorry that fell apart :/ my gf and i are gonna start a family, but not until we're actually financially stable and settled. she won't even marry me until we can afford a decent wedding, which is understandable.

>>23303556
it was pretty, pretty, pretty pretty good. *wink*
>>
>>23303545
Why not both? That looks nice.

Do you like pain at least a bit?
>>
>>23303554
yeah it's fucking AMAZING, but it is VERY rough to read lol lots of footnotes and shit in margins and god it's...it's awesome though.

>>23303563
i mean, if i were single, and i knew who she was lmao i'm happy where i am though.
>>
btw everyone, whoever is interested, the movie has changed now to Don Hertzfeldts "It's Such A Beautiful Day".
>>
>>23303597
>
Alright since we're on the subject. What are your favorite movies? I'll list mine if you care.
>>
>>23303561
Its okay,it was all my fault.
I wish you two the best then! May your wedding be a wonderful and special occasion.
>>
>>23303610
sure!

worlds greatest dad, it's such a beautiful day, a boy and his dog, young adult, robot & frank, jeff who lives at home, john dies at the end, god bless america, blair witch (i know i know it's cliche but w/e), 1408, a town called panic, moonrise kingdom (most wes anderson shit), david lynch's "rabbits" (also eraserhead), the voices, rubber and tons more i can't remember lol

>>23303620
:) you're a sweetie. thanks. god i hope our wedding is awesome and SOONER rather than later. i was MADE to be a housewife lol
>>
>>23303610
>>23303637
blargh. forgot The Artist.
>>
>>23303646
GHOST WORLD. ALSO GHOST WORLD. god i'm not all there tonight.
>>
>>23303637
Oh funnny, I love Inland Empire but I had no idea where the rabbits scene fit in. I didn't know it was something unto itself.

My list is, Heart of Glass, Inland Empire, Mullholand Drive, Come and See, Solaris (1972), Grizzly Man, 2001, The Mirror, Dancer in the Dark, Rear Window and I actually really like the last Dredd movie.

Ok so now your favorite books.
>>
>>23303686
house of leaves, battle royale, the book of joe, literally anything by douglas coupland, the almost moon, the little prince, gods debris, assassination vacation, the bell jar, when the wind blows & the lake house, metamorphosis, any poe or lovecraft, carsick by john waters, disco bloodbath, any OZ book, the brave little toaster. i read a LOT.
>>
>>23303686
also, flowers for algernon broke my goddamned heart.
>>
>>23303710
Oh crazy, You don't see Metamorphosis on the list very often. I assume you mean the metamorphosis of Ovid and not kafka right? I did my thesis on The Metamorphosis, linking it to Anaxagoras physics of mixtures.
>>
>>23303573
Awesome!, will definitely check it out when I'm done these ones
>>
>>23303753
no i did mean kafka, sorry to disappoint :/ i'm not THAT smart lol

>>23303760
for sure! just be aware it's gonna be a challenging read lol
>>
>>23303769
Don't be embarrassed about that. Kafka is an incredible writer. I really like The Castle and The Trial. I just have a thing for classical poetry like Hesiod and Ovid in particular.

A funny think I learned from reading the Metamorphosis and the origins of the word Hermaphrodite. He was the son of Hermes and Aphrodite who was fused with a female nymph to become half man and half woman. His name was hermaphroditus.
>>
>>23303798
huh, i never knew that. i should tell that to my ex, she's big into etymology. oh, i also really like philip k. dicks "confessions of a crap artist".
>>
>>23303637
Thank you, now i'm guna go try to rest up and get over this cold. You take care now anon.
>>
>>23303828
^^ you too hun! feel better <3
>>
out of the blue question: so when's the last time everyone got laid?
>>
>>23303854
I'm married so yesterday. My wife will have sex with me whenever I want which is nice.
>>
>>23303854
>>
>>23303865
nice lol it was about a week ago for me. usually it's more frequent but lately we've both just been really tired and shit.

>>23303869
wow, what's goin on?
>>
>>23303895
No idea haha, I generally just suck when it comes to talking to women haha That and I'm just naturally more introverted, I'll be out hiking alone and stuff instead of being where I could meet people
>>
>>23303854

Never. Level 31 wizard.
>>
>>23303902
dude i feel it. i am WAY introverted. my gf likes to go to live shows and hang out with people and i just wanna stay home and read manga or something. i really...i kinda don't like people. they've been really mean to me most of my life.
>>
>>23303915
wow. never even close?
>>
>>23303928

I've kissed 2 girls, one at 24, the other at 28. That's about it.
>>
>>23303945
just too shy or?

god i kissed my first girl at like 12 but that's what happens when young lesbians meet someone who also likes girls for the first time. you don't feel so alone suddenly.
>>
>>23303902
>>23303915
you guys might like to read The Highly Sensitive Person. It's a book that may help recontextualize your ideas about yourself and introversion. You can find a copy on the pirate's bay.
>>
>>23303918
Ohh that sucks, sorry to hear that :/. I've never had anyone be particularly mean to me or anything, I just prefer being alone most of the time, even if I have the choice of being with close friends. Everything better for you now?

>>23303965
Thanks Anon, that sounds like something that'd be interesting to check out
>>
>>23303965
personally, i just...i appreciate that advice and i probably will just out of curiosity but ultimately i prefer to be alone or with my gf or on here. i don't like being social. i have autism and being social just makes me very...just very unhappy. all there is to it. but i will take the name of that book down for future reading.
>>
>>23303956

Combination of factors I guess. Shyness is part of it, also no idea how relationships worked. Didn't really understand the whole concept of dating for a long time. Last couple years I haven't really tried to date or anything.
>>
>>23303988
i mean i prefer it also but a lot of it has to do with how cruel people have been to me in the past. yeah things are pretty good these days, given my living situation ^^

>>23304000
i always sorta just stumbled into girls who ended up liking me for whatever reason. i have been told i'm a really good gf though, which is surprising because i don't know how to interact with people face to face.
>>
>>23303994
Oh, it's not about overcoming introversion but not seeing it and it's associated symptoms as flaws. It tries to just place these ideas about being very sensitive and easily aroused in different context though understanding them better.
>>
>>23304004
Ahh yeah true that, I hear ya. Glad you found someone for you though, that can help a huge amount :)
>>
>>23304012
huh ok that i can agree with.

>>23304020
it does help tremendously. i'd be lost without her honestly lol
>>
>>23304004

I think I'll start trying again soon. For the past year and a half I've been living with my mom and working two jobs for the past year. I'm getting my own apartment again in March and hopefully cutting my hours down or getting another job soon. Right now though, working 70 hours a week and living at home doesn't seem like the best time to try to date.
>>
>>23304033
no for sure, you've got the right idea. and hopefully it'll work to your advantage this way :)
>>
>>23304033
Getting laid or in a relationship gets a lot easier the older you get until your mid 30's. Then it get's hard again because most people that age don't have a strong social circle as all your fiends have kids and or involved careers.
>>
>>23304091
Oh that sucks haha I'm already 29 and definitely do not have a large social circle haha
>>
>>23304099
It doesn't have to be large. It just get's you out of the house and doing things where you'll meet girls.
>>
>>23304091
i mean, my gf is 32 and we met last year, and before me she had a rather active sex life so idk i think age is definitely a variable but i also think it doesn't apply the same to everyone.

>>23304099
what do you look like?
>>
>>23304143
Ahh I'm definitely not a model but I don't think I'm particularly unattractive haha, er so I thnik
>>
>>23304143
It definitely doesn't apply to gay folks.
>>
>>23304184
oh i guess i hadn't thought about that aspect, yeah. your sexuality is obviously a big factor. that's a good point.

hi.
>>
>>23304329
O Hey
>>
>>23304360
it's SUCH a boring night here. today was pleasant. we did some composting and i did the dishes and we sat and just read for a while, but my gf is asleep now and i should've made dinner or something instead of goofing off online. now i'm all hungry.
>>
>>23304374
Aww damn, that sucks. Sounds like a good day though! I'm still just sitting listening to music contemplating sleeping, have to work in 5 hours >.<
>>
>>23304398
it was a very good day, very relaxing and calming. nothing too high energy. we've had a fucked up sleep schedule lately, so we haven't even HAD much energy lol

i may play video games soon, idk. i'm kinda hoping she wakes up from her nap so we can watch community or something but doesn't seem likely. i REALLY wanna make art, but i haven't had many ideas lately...or supplies.
>>
>>23304329
are you somewhere in Britain or is that not a picture you just took?
>>
>>23304420
aw jeez never mind you just said it was late and that your GF is asleep.
>>
>>23304420
no i don't live in britain. we live in the states. i mean that photo is a few weeks old too but yeah.

yeah she went to bed early cause she woke up before me lol
>>
>>23304413
Nice, those are the best days.

What kind of art do you do Drawing or Painting?
>>
>>23304432
i draw and make things too, like with props. i wanna paint but we don't have the room for that right now. sometime this year though i will start. i'm also a writer.
>>
>>23304439
Oh Nice! That's really cool

As much as I'm enjoying this convo I should get going, totally lost track of time it's already 1:30 haha. Hope you all have a good night, maybe see you back here or around somewhere

WHat state is that?

>>
>>23304815

This is just day two. I've been taking cold medicine and drinking hot tea. Also whe eat its super spicy noodles! Clears my sinuses up.

there's not much honestly lol go to thrift stores, bookstores every now and then. it's preeeeeeetty dead here.

yeah eating spicy things is always what i do to clear my sinuses lol
