I've been posting my info in here on and off for months and only got three requests, two of which from friend collectors so I didn't accept them and the other from someone who never responded after I replied to their initial message. I don't like the IRC format because you can't look at previous messages from before you've joined the room and I always seem to join in the middle of a discussion and I don't want to be that tard that asks what they're talking about. If I do stick around for new discussions to pop up it's usually about something I don't have any interest in or I'm just ignorant towards the topic and I'm too anxious to try and bring up something I would be interested in talking about because I imagine I'll get ignored or no one is interested/knows enough about the topic to discuss it so they carry on talking about whatever.
