So I legitimately cannot find any girl to talk to for advice from a female perspective. I don't want to have dirty conversations or anything, I legit just would like a female point of view every now and then. A female friend. I'm a femanon and my best friend is a man. 100% platonic, and always has been. I think the way it works for us is that we met as kids, I was 9 and he was 11. We've been best friends for 13 years now! It's great having a male perspective on some things. We're both reasonable, drama-free people as well so it's super great. We also share a lot of the same hobbies, and often go on lengthy backpacking (think Canadian wilderness) trips together. There's a lot of trust. It's a sticking point in relationships sometimes because romantic partners can get jealous. But if they feel threatened that is their problem, because trust is key in all relationships (platonic or romantic). I don't know if that helps at all OP, but I hope it was at least encouraging. Find someone you can trust, and someone with similar interests and hopefully it will be the start of a great friendship!

My three best friends are guys that I met when we were like six. Grew up together in our neighborhood. We were on swim team together most of our lives. Never have slept with any of them sexually.(as in we go camping or sleep at each other's house but no sex)
