Fucking hell guys, Perthfag here and our meets went almost identically

>initial meet included two femanons, a handful of stereotypical NEETs that defied the stereotype in one or two insignificant ways and a bunch of blokes you couldn't really shoehorn into any type of 4chan stereotype
>a lot dropped after the first meet, namely the almost/entirely NEETs
>left with a Breakfast Club style group with vastly differing interests
>one femanon and I hosted a handful of house parties and it was mad fun
>weird drama emerged from almost all of us at one point or another
>certain dramas broke the solidified group after a few months
>I stay in contact with all the anons but certain ones have issues with certain others and our Facebook group chat (which is missing a couple of members) is dead as fuck besides my spam

Honestly all we had in common was our use of 4chan,it's not a solid basis for a solid clique but I'd be lying if I said I hadn't met any cool people through it. I'm living with another anon now and even though I don't see the others too often I'd rank 3 or 4 of them in my to 10 mates for sure.

6017/m/22, a girl at work was apparently swooning after me tonight, which is mind boggling because my coworker looks like a roided up Ryan Reynolds

Had a huge one last night and still smashed it out at work today because I'm a fucking trooper but really feeling it now haha. Boyfriend's at his friends place tonight so I have the bed all to myself and (hi honey if you're reading this) I'm so keen to take up as much room as possible and have a decent sleep lol.

How was everyone else's NYE? Anything exciting planned for 2016?

>>23068904

>>23068923
it's okay anon. dating sites can change that. okcupid and pof. i'm awkward as hell in real life when just meeting someone but if we've spoken online beforehand for some reason it's fine

>>23068964
it requires a looooot of effort. i usually talk to girls for a while and then meet up with them. whatever happens happens. don't expect anything. don't go into it expecting to get laid and you'll probably get laid
>>
>>23069027
I don't expect to get laid I just want to feel loved by another girl
>>
>>23069047
then get on there, send a lot (hundreds) of messages, meet up when you can. be confident when you ask someone to do something with you.

i iwsh you best of like kind anon

thank you fellow kind anon

best of luck to you too :)

>>23069062
yeah, ive met quite a few girls from there. made some happy memories, some not so happy, but it's mostly been worth it.

i just don't know if i can be bothered anymore. not finding my dream girl sorting through pictures on the internet

Why don't Melbourne bartenders know what a "house" beer means?
>>
>>23075420
Because Melbourne bartenders are all hipsters and only know what microbrews are

Well there's your problem, they pretend they have a culture but lack the authentic stuff

I'm used to explaining what a Tatanka is, but I had a bartender not know what a screwdriver was once. I was dumbfounded.

Where are all the Damn Sydney siders at
>>
6151/m/19
Cravin that company
>>
>>23075829

Yes, I suppose with the terrible vodka that they all usually serve it is a necessity to mix.

Tatanka is a hardstyle DJ, I'm not surprised that people don't know how to mix that.

one of the reasons I don't particularly like going out. The alcohol is watered down, expensive and difficult to obtain. Staying at home or going to a private party is much more satisfying in my opinion.

That being said, going out on the odd occasion isn't so bad.
>>
>>23081111

That's why people predrink. Have the majority of alcohol just before you go out so you're sober enough to get into places and only buy a couple drinks inside
>>
>>23081583
yeah that's good for most people but i sober up really quickly.
>>
Anyone in SA going to be in Adelaide tomorrow?

finishing up my first cycle, entire department got laid off so i don't have the cash for pct. Trying my hardest not to kill myself as i slowly turn into a woman.
>>
>>23082408

Why were you on gear without having your PCT on hand before you started?
>>
>>23082423

The only correct answer is that i was a fucking idiot. Thought my job was solid and id just get it when i needed it. Then me and everybody else got laid off right before christmas
>>
>>23082452
oh anon. im so sorry.

i've been made redundant twice working as a contractor for Telstra. the feels be reals

Nah nothing new really, headed to Thailand in August so at least there's something to look forward to. Where abouts in 4503 are you? Griffin here.

>>
>>23082473
lol fucking contractor.

less cut-throats, find the actual problem...
>>
>>23082794
not the kind of contractor you're thinking of. i worked in a call center hired through a recruitment agency. nothing cut-throat about it; most of the people who get hired are fucking stupid and techno-illiterate
>>
>>23082801
ah, figured you meant field work.

fuck that, call centre work would suck giant dicks.
>>
>>23082801
Knowing a lot of people that worked at Telstra call centres, can confirm, they're all stupid
>>
>>23082820
it does. i did it for four years. would not recommend.

also do fucking NOT do tech support. all the stories about people who don't know shit about IT are true and far, far worse. what you don't hear are all the stories of people who aren't humourously stupid.

>>23082827
yep. don't get me wrong, there are some extremely intelligent people but they're certainly the minority.
>>
>>23082849
when you start talking to guys in the global operations team, they're the ones that know what they're on about.

i had a mate that was in tech support, and transferred to the field, wasn't the brightest spark..
>>
>>23082897
it really depends on where you work and how long you've been for. i've worked for a few ISP's and the biggest issue with all of them is the amount of departments in all of them and the inability of the average employee to identify the right person the customer/employee needs to talk to to get the right information. when you know your way around the business and know what to do in order to get to a particular place things become much easier.

for example, with Telstra, there's a call center in Melton (or thereabouts) that's full of people who know what they're on about. if you call the foxtel line and select a particular option the computer will always transfer you to this particular center.

just little things like that.

>have internet issues relating to a fault in the exchange
>call up continuously trying to get the problem sorted out
>no one's helpful, tries to run through basic troubleshooting I did before I rang them
>that one time I get put through to a guy that actually knows shit
It was the greatest day of my life. Turns out my port at the exchange had blown up and none of the tech support people bothered to contact the exchange even though it was the first thing I had told them
>>
>>23082933
Trying to sleep because work tomorrow but I'm still pretty awake. You?
>>
>>23082952
yep. no one wants to look at sending someone to the exchange because it costs the business money. when i was working at iiNet if we sent someone there and they couldn't find a problem it would cost them $150. you can imagine how pissed people were.

>>23082958
yeah i gotta work as well. what do you do?
im just browsing. bored. think i might watch the new Sherlock special
>>

just a cleaner. studying at Fed so working part time.
>>
>>23082977
What are you studying? I just finished school a few months back at Fed uni for my cert 3 in engineering
>>
>>23083002
oooh nice dude. i was doing a bachelor of engineering (mechanical).

swapping though because personal issues and can't focus on the workload
>>
>>23083022
That's a bit of a Bugger. I'd love to get a degree in mechanical engineering but id struggle to keep up with a full time job and school at the same time.
>>
>>23083058
yeah that would be almost impossible. do you have a reason you need to work fulll time? car/house?
>>
>>23083073
Rent, food, bills, rego, alcohol etc. Couldn't afford to work part time.
>>

not even studying? get youth allowance. i get $540 per fortnight and part time work makes up the rest
