mm i would like to try to give advice except i only do non-computer art..
then again maybe there are ideas and things that can help regardless of what medium is used
you can try to do a series of self-portraits! like give yourself the goal to make 5, and with each one you make, keep looking in the mirror to try to find what doesn't look like you in it, and on the next one focus on fixing that. by the end of the 5 pictures you should already see a difference between the first and the last in how good of a resemblance you achieved :)
