Dig the style m8
>>22948612
I love your figure drawing mate. Do you have a copy of Andrew Loomis 'figure drawing for all its worth' the style is very similar.
>>22948620
Cheers man. It differs wildly depending on my mood.
>>22948624
I got most of his digital copies on my phone. Mostly studying him and Hogarth ATM so I can work on anatomy and stuff. My style is pretty different from my practice work, but I gotta work on getting anatomy stamped on the brain.
>>22948642
Same. I prefer Loomis to Hogarth, but that being said my figure drawings been put on hold as people are only asking for my very stylized graphic noir stuff currently.
>>22948653
Yeaaaaahhhh I agree with you on that. Hogarth seems to have a hard on for the Greeks and it shows in his work. Makes it easy to understand anatomy though, not much guesswork.
>>22948663
True! I mean for learning he's great. But for personal choice between styles he's not on my list.
Are you studying anywhere? Or is this for your own personal development.
>>22948675
All self taught. I hope to work on video games one day, so until I can afford art college or get a job I'll just keep drawing. You?
>>22948589
He isn't bae enough to be elf princess, you have a beautiful face I'm sorry I couldn't do it justice
>>22948767
OP btw
>>22948739
Same! Although my partner already is in the industry. I'm hoping to break in aswell but I'm focusing on sound design, it'll be a lot easier with his expertise too. My artwork is just something I do to chill.
>>22948813
Ahhhh I see. Art's like the only thing I'm good at and have truly enjoyed my whole life. And that's awesome! You guys sound like the perfect pair
>>22948824
Cheers friend. And it's much better to be into one thing fully with all your love, than spread thin between x amount of hobbies.
>>22948830
True. Although it doesn't make me a very good conversationalist unless it's general knowledge shit that intrigues me. Haha
>>22948481
>>22948453
The one on the left
>>22948838
That's bang tidy mate. You know, you don't actually need a qualification to work in the industry. Just a damn good portfolio. My partner was accepted for a triple AAA company on his sound reel and passion for games. He's since left there and is now senior sound designer for Star Citizen. The audio director at foundry also has no formal qualifications, and before SC he was at Rocksteady working on the Arkham games. I've always been told don't focus on a certificate to show your worth, show the people what you can instead.
>>22948859
Yeaaah. I just don't feel I'm at the level yet to be in the industry. I'll be taking the next couple years to polish my skills so I can be more confident in the portfolio I'll turn in. Me and a buddy of mine are at work on a couple of games, so that way I can work on 3d-modeling and such to buff up my versatility. Just gotta go for the dream man. It'd be really cool to talk to him, although I doubt he'd be comfortable shooting the shit with a random on 4chan. Haha
Do shitty digital doodles count?
Can someone draw me a fox grill in a Wehrmacht rifleman uniform?
I am stuck with a weeb style. Example sketch from 6 months ago.
>>22948879
I mean if you have a DA I can link you to a concept artist, as my audio guy may not have enough information for you. But this blokes super nice and helpful. A few times he's done an art jam with me over Skype despite being leagues above me. Would always point out different ways and better practices for me.

Again he's so lovely. I'm sure if you approach him he'll be happy to help.
>>22948898
Appreciate the info. :) I'll definitely have to give him a chat.
>>22948908

Currently coloring one, so I don't want to post that yet. I drew this when I was about 15, give or take. Didn't have a scanner, so I had to photograph it. Always meant to finish it, but someone stole my art folder.
