If it helps, OP, I have been using Tinder for over 2 years at the recommendation of people I know who tried to wingman me unsuccessfully in real life and used autoswipers the whole time to right swipe everyone and get 2-3 matches a week on a good week. And never any responses even when I let the more successful people who put me on it to begin with decide what to say. I am mildly successful on tinder in Europe, but I wanna try my luck while I am in the US the next few weeks, and from all I see here, Euro-tinder is very different from US-tinder.
Here in Europe, I have a really hard time to swipe no, because most of the girls look good (at least in their pictures, reality is something different sometimes…) and appear interesting or intelligent if the have an "about me". Thus, I dont get laid too often, but I had some very interesting and intellectually enriching tinder dates so far.
But looking around in the US (currently in Las Vegas, swithcing to San Francisco soon), its an insane percentage of girls that are either ugly, fat, reek of a single digit IQ even through my phone screen or appear like they have severe mental issues, or mostly a combination of those "features".
so to sum up:
would this bio (+ some I'd say at least OK pics that show outdoor activities and social situations + some wealth) attract the 10% that I would want to have something to do with?

From my perspective, as some whos profile is probably not a total creep/autism profile, yet its also not a Mr. Perfect profile, I would lean towards the second option!
I strongly believe that tinder has some algorithms going, that put you in certain "attractiveness" and "thirsty" bins.
If you are perfect, and every girl will swipe you right, you can do whatever the fuck you want, because you are a positive thing that tinder will like to show to girls, making them feel like by likeable dudes.
If you are a creepy or ugly dude, tinder will park you somehwere, and wont show you to many girls, since you will make them feel uncomfortable, so reducing their female user base, and thus the potential -male - paying user base. So you are fucked. delete your account, and start over, less creepy!
But the hard part seems to be the middle. When you are reasonably attractive, yet not an 100% instant right-swipe. I tried it a few times with fresh, but almost identical profiles:
The profile where I start thirstily swiping yes to everything right from the start, get me that few starting matches to get me hooked, and then nothing.
But If I am not online for a few times quite often, and swipe very selectively from the start, I constantly get more matches on those profiles.
Of course, without really knowing tinders algorithms, I cant say for sure, but this observation works for me, and also fits with the stuff read here, that seemingly both tactics can work.

But, if they search on facebook for your first name, and your profile pic is in your tinder pics, it will be easier for them to find you. I also have the feeling that a tinder connection will put you more towards the top, if they search for you.
