I think if you want a less ridiculous response to this question you might try rephrasing it in a way that makes people want to respond with empathy rather than irritation. Maybe something like: I'm feeling rather lost when it comes to finding the company of women lately. I've tried all the usual suspects, the bars, the clubs, the coffee shops, and I can't seem to find anyone to connect with. If I want to find the girls with a sense of humor and a little self direction where should I be looking?
