Haha judging by your responses you seem to be massively insecure and basing your confidence off of other people's responses to you. It's understandable but you have to learn that not everyone is your cup of tea and vice versa. I'm between a 5.5 and a 7.5 in this thread, and have gotten things from 9.5 all the way down to 3.5 that have been legitimately genuine responses. It's completely fine and I actually enjoy the variety as it shows me people are being genuine with their responses and I can most likely objectively say I'm around a 6 to a 6.5 in the general population's eyes due to it being my guesstimated mean of responses I've received over time of posting on/off rate threads in the past few years (I tend to hang around /soc/ for a week and disappear for almost a year before coming back.)
Long story short it is clear that you are feeling somewhat less confident or upset toward the responses that you are receiving and I can only say that it's definitely an unfavorable response. Attraction is subjective and beauty is purely in the eyes of the beholder. Stop taking it so literally and as a genuine reflection of you as a person- because it is not. It is just slight, 100% shallow fun.

However, you did ask for my reasoning so here it goes. I am brutally honest and don't sugarcoat anything, so don't be surprised if this offends you as you seem to have somewhat thin skin.
Now, onto why I gave you a 6. 5 is the baseline for average, whereas 6 is above average. You look well put together and have a nice facial structure, which would put you as above average: hygienic and attractive but not my type (causing you to be below an 8) and also there are a few things I pointedly dislike (why you're below a 7 imho). You have an especially great smile and lovely eye color though, as well as a nice face.
However your hair looks greasy and I don't like it when men use product in their hair. You look somewhat like a backstreet boy/a bit too effeminate in this photo which I dislike. I am not a fan of your facial hair and prefer men with a bit more gruff. The space between your eyebrows is too large for my taste. You are also quite skinny and young looking in this photo and I prefer my men to be a bit beefier because while I couldn't call myself curvy/chubby, I'd definitely say I'm a thicker skinnyfat girl (166 cm and 60 kgs) and like my men to be both taller and wider than me because I want someone who can easily pick me up. You look like I'd crush you which would in turn make me feel bad about myself thus killing my attraction as well.
Also, you somewhat remind me of my mother's ex boyfriend Danny who was largely jealous and clingy from what I remember.
There, all of my reasoning. It is also a strangely bright photograph that is just offset from the photos I am used to seeing. Keep in mind that none of this reflects on you as a person and rather is my perspective of the singular, cropped out image I've seen of you without knowing anything about your personality. Don't be offended and don't take it to heart. I would have not said anything had you not asked. Most people rated you highly. Focus on the good ratings rather than the mediocre ones.
