Jam sesh thread? Jam sesh thread.
ITT: Post area code, and instruments/genres you play. Maybe post some info about yourself, ASL, what you're looking for (casual jams, forming a band, collabs, musical life partner, etc.)
856/609 29/M Guitar Player. Grew up with jazz but heavily involved into metal but understand the aspect of an amazingly written song and base my skills around multiple genres.
309 19 F Guitar + Piano + Vocals. Very into acoustic renditions of post-hardcore, pop rock, symphonic metal, or anything orchestral & anthemic. Main influences are Evanescence, Marianas Trench, The Cab, The Script, Johnny Craig, You Me At Six, and Paramore.

Any chance anyone is in Dublin? Dublin14/GQ/guitar + punk vocals + normal backing vocals + bass (but I don't have one up here)
Very into punk and post-punk but I have a super wide range of tastes. Love Black Lips, Jay Reatard, Ty Segall, Deerhunter, Deerhoof, No Age, JEFF the Brotherhood, Wilco

I also write loads of songs if you're looking to get together a legit band
Southern Netherlands (like 1 hour from Belgian border south) 22/M
Guitarist, amateur vocalist, beginner songwriter
Preference lies in (blues)rock and blues, but I'm up for playing any style I guess, as long as it sounds good. Recently even played Wrecking Ball (Douwe Bob version though).
I'm pretty much up for anything music wise; jam sessions, bands, collabs, online sessions as well I guess, just got some decent recording equipment yesterday as a matter of fact.
>musical life parter
>find, me, somebody to loooove
Haha, that would be nice, but I doubt that is ever going to happen.

I'm into a variety of genres. I've been in progressive, new-wave, fastcore, and screamo bands. These days I listen to lotta chiptunes and witch house. I'd like to join/form a good shoegaze or post-punk band. Top artists include The Cure, Depeche Mode, Converge, Black Flag, Radiohead, Agnostic Front, Grimes, etc. I could play bass too though I never have in a band.

>guitar, willing to shittily play bass, okay at singing
>mainly emo, punk, post hc, indie rock, rock
>anyone who just wants to jam. ideally a drummer because literally the only one I knew in my hick-ass town moved 4 months ago
334, but really anywhere in the state.
19/m, been playing guitar for 7 years. But I also play trombone (for what its worth).
Really into post-rock/math-rock, 90's, alternative, and acoustic singer/song-writer type stuff. Also wouldn't be against trying rap rock (if thats a thing) sort of like rage agains the machine, aer, lonely biscuits, or 21 pilots.
Would anyone be interested in me:
1. Posting recording of me playing rhythm guitar part as mp3
2. you take it and record over it, solos, riffs, etc.
3.?????
4. profit
I had this idea for a /mu/ thread before, wanted to hear thoughts
