I'm drinking eggnog and brandy. It's that time of year when I start turning into a sad alcoholic shut-in for a few months, and I haven't seen the sun yet this week, but it's not so bad. I really fucking love eggnog.

Yeah, it was pretty tasty indeed, ascarw most Sixpoint beers. Though, Yuengling ain't too bad. At least it's better than Bud/Miller/Coors.
I'm currently at work, but I figure I'll open something light for now, like Oskar Blues' IPA.
Drinking honey jack daniels because fuck it. Lost a friend and something to regularly do on weekends besides hope someone doesn't have to do homework and has time for vidya. I'd like to think there might be a chance at reconnecting, but I'm far better at burning bridges permanently than temporarily. I lost the popularity contest, got passive aggression again and have to hope some of the people I talk to next on this goddamn board will suck less.

Now Drinking: Dogfish Head's 2010 World Wide Stout
The alcohol has definitely died down quite a bit compared to a fresh bottle. Little bit of oxidation has sprung up, but it adds a little bit of sherry-like quality to the beer. Good stuff.

Break in friendship. I was invited to something that everyone said they were looking forward to participating in with me, then promptly proved that they didn't. There were a couple of statements that insinuated I was in the wrong for being irritated that things were not progressing and I just gave up. I could say that I let my emotions carry me away and to an extent it would be truth but to be honest I don't feel like I belonged there anyway. I probably could have refused outright and I would have felt better about the situation. Or it just would have been a slower death. I don't know how alone I would have felt then, but I know how alone I feel now. The holidays will suck quite a bit more than usual this time around
