Hey, I guess I just want to vent but recently I've felt absolutely nothing. I ended my 7 year relationship with my gf for little to no reason other than the fact I was bored of her. She threatened to kill herself and I told her I'll be watching the news. Often I just say extremely cold, fucked up shit without realizing it until later but I am too prideful to apologize so I let it fester in their mind. I told my cousin who has leukemia that she's going to die and I won't be at her funeral(she's 17 but has fucked me over money wise pretty hard) am I just a fucked up human?

Sorry man, I have really bad history with a sociopath.
He wants nothing to do with me now, and yet whenever I have self-loathing thoughts they're always in his voice, and all I do is obsess over him because of lies he told me for like 6 years.
He manipulated and lied to get me to do whatever he wanted and he doesn't know it, or care, but he still has his hooks in me and I just wish I could forget about him.
Because everything he did was because he found it amusing.

It's not really that much of a story,
I got involved with him when I was 13. He never called me his girlfriend or anything, I was just a plaything to him.
He lied and manipulated me for six years, and then when he wasn't amused anymore he got a real girlfriend and left me wondering what the fuck I did wrong.
I didn't realize how fucked up he was until I moved in with my fiance, who was his best friend back before he realized that he was just fucking evil.
Now he's a marine with a skinny blonde girlfriend. According to her Facebook which of course I looked, she likes hiking.
I don't trust girls that can be outside for that long.
I want to tell her what a horrible human being he is but girls don't listen ya'know?
And of course he'll lie to her and if I tell her he's lying it's just going to "confirm" it as truth.

4% of the total population are considered psychopaths, of that 4% they make up approximately 25-30% of the prison population.
