Hello [s4s]! Today we are going to get smarter by talking about what is perhaps the smartest thing of all: The brain!
The brain is a big ol brain-shaped thing in your head made of brain matter. If you poke it, you basically die. It contains all of your thoughts and memories and controls your body, and is responsible for making you think that you exist as a distinct consciousness and have free will! (nobody really knows if you do or not, what do you think?)
The brain takes in and interprets tons of information from its environment and basically tells you: "oh yes, that music sounds good," or, "oh no, those shoes do NOT go with that dress."
How can the brain do this? As far as anyone can tell, it is either some kind of frightening magic or an elaborate hoax.
Since the brain evolved through millions of years of being stuck on earth, it gives you a bunch of assumptions about how the world works and what to think about the things you see that you don't really get a say in, and it has an ulterior motive of trying to make you kiss girls or boys to make babies so tbh you really can't trust the slimy devil.
