but how can this turn into fire when the lowest temperature for autoignition of normal solids is around 450 degrees and the temperature of autoignition for a dust cloud of sugar is 480F, and for a mixture like this you would be looking at approximately 800 degrees F if not more. I call bullshit on this story and advise you to do your research before posting such nonsense. I do not find your "fake recipe" very humorous at all.

should i try this recipe?
egg is mostly water, it can't burn unless it cooks too long. most cookie recipes have some kind of leavening agent like baking powder also, or egg whites whipped by themselves. i think those ingredients actually COULD make cookies tho so this is like some kind of double ruse imo.

guys. i'm going to fucking do it. i went and bought peanut butter just for this. am i going to die in a fire? or make delicious cookies?
probably neither. i'm considering beating the eggwhite separately from the yolk for this.. since there is no baking powder. good idea?

i think these turned out like cookies and not fire. i'm letting them cool. they're still a bit moist but after 20 min or so resting they should firm up.
OP was confirmed for trole: the recipe makes cookies.

>egg is mostly water

But you forget that water is H2O and oxygen is extremely flammable.
>>
>>4349679
I've never seen water burn. generally it boils first. unlike oil, which can get much hotter than water. i think i have the basics of cooking science understood tbh...
>>
>>4349690
well I'm a scientiest and I seen water spurt up in the air from dead middle of a statue. never seen oil do that einstein.

never seen water burn.. what are you from mars?? next time you do steam from a pan tell me its not on fire pal
>>
>>4348805
Those cookies look delicious!

>>4349728
Actually, water can't burn. One of the things that makes water special is that it's great at absorbing heat. Water can actually absorb so much heat that the dense chemical bonds it needs to remain in liquid form will get broken, turning it into a gas (steam), before it can retain enough heat to undergo combustion and catch on fire.

>>4349711
>>4348811
Doubles #Checked!
>>
>>4349771
Ok then riddle me this smartso-- if water can't burn, how do you explain a hot water bottle?
>>
>>4349778
That's simple. Water can absorb a certain amount of heat, which will raise its temperature, before it reaches the critical level to turn into steam.
>>
>>4349782
It isn't called a steam bottle dummy it's got water inside
>>
>>4349789
Well, yeah. The water in a hot water bottle has absorbed a certain amount of heat energy. The water's temperature increases, making it hotter, but the water hasn't absorbed enough heat energy to change its state. It's not steam, it's still a liquid, although it's warmer than regular water. Does that make sense?
>>
>>4349800
You can't plug water into enerjy or will get zapped..... good double but VERY poor safety.
>>
>>4348194
That's how my mommy always makes them
Pretty convenient to make, but wew are they sweet. If you need a glass of milk to go with a pb sannich and you need a glass of milk to go with cookies you're gonna need two glasses for peanut butter cookies
