What do you do with BA in English? What is my life going to be?
Four years of college, and PLENTY if knowledge has earned me this useless degree.
I can't pay the bills yet, cause I have no skills yet. The world is a big scary place.
But somehow I can't shake the feeling I might make a difference go the human race!

Applying for an internship at multiple government agencies can be one part of your job search.
The fact that you have an English degree means that you can probably learn and be trained to do things.
A lot of government agencies are on the look out for people like that.
now obviously the intern level job is going to not pay much and may not be fun, but if you do well then it can lead to better things.
Even if you don't want to spend your life in government service, a steady government job will give you the financial stability to live and experiment until you figure out what you DO want to do with your life.
It can also help you make connections that can help you down the road.
As I said before this should be PART of your search, not most or all of your search for something to do and keep you supported while you figure out what you want to do with your life.
