i visited my mom early for breakfast and she gave me some pumpkin pie and i went home i had this for lunch. hmm.. i should have heated the gravy in a saucepan, it got hot in the microwave but stayed a little too thick. ppl were asking if i was going to do a thanksgiving thread and i said no but i did make a few things so just posting this plate. just deviled eggs and potatoes. bought a ham (i'm gonna be eating ham for like a week now... .___.;; yay ham sandwiches) and some green beans. no turkey for me this year but i'll look around and see if i can find a duck now that the holiday is over and they're not normally available here year round.
thanks everyone!

it's gravy, buddy. for the liquid was actually a mix of chicken stock and mushroom/vegetable stock from previous meals that i just combined and stuck back in the fridge. i just did a basic butter/flour roux and added lots of black pepper. turned out pretty nicely actually but it didn't reheat very well in the microwave and is basically like jello at fridge temperatures... i think some time in a pan and whisking would properly resuscitate it however.
