Clearly, the difference is in the quality of the images. If "STATE threads" would be full of high-res, well-lit pictures of beautiful women, I guess noone would complain. I can't remember the last time I saved a picture from those threads. I'm not saying there never was a good image in those threads, but they just drown in low-quality blurry mirror shots of subpar girls. Those posting the rare good pictures would be much better posting them in a content-specific thread.

Second of all, these threads are just fucking retarded. I never saw them before 4chan got to its Eternal Summer phase. There is really no difference between girls in one area code or another, aside from ethnic makeup, average weight, etc. You're retarded if you think there's any value in seeing "what kind of girls" are in a particular area (and area codes are pretty large, even in dense cities), or if you think a girl being in your area code makes them attainable (again, area codes are huge).
