Verstappen edition.
Hello and welcome to /cara/ on this beautiful sunday evening.
How have you been? I'd love to know, carabro.
Giving a FAQ:
>who is she and what does she do? i would google her but i doubt it would be worth the effort.
Cara Delevingne is primarily occupied with being the #1 qtpie waifu and stealing hearts of men and women. Other her hobbies include changing the world of fashion forever and being a pretty good actress.
>what makes Cara the #1 qtpie waifu?
there is the obvious unprecedented beauty and cuteness, and then there is the adorable and lovely personality http://imgur.com/a/2qH90
>what about the rumors that she's a coalburner?
There is currently no evidence supporting the claim that she ever engaged in sex with any other black person than Jourdan Dunn.
>What the fuck is wrong with her eyebrows?
Literally nothing, they're gorgeous.
>How do I pronounce her name?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOCO51-ApLE
>Can I post other waifus on /cara/?
The waifus that are /cara/-approved are: Kaya Scodelario, Mirukawa, Kristen Stewart and Barbara Palvin. We always encourage Caraposting instead of other-approved-waifu-posting.
today's race was absolutely incredible. i haven't been that excited for F1 in many many years.
did you watch it? what did you think?
>>16703361
Mercedes clusterfuck cost me £45. The pain is lessened though thanks to MAD MAX. I was staring at my screen with my mouth open for the last 10 laps of the race. So happy for him.
Good evening carabros!
obligatory
>>16703364
good evening!
yeah, every single thing that happened today was awesome in its own way.
vettel freaking out over ricciardo pushing on him, ricciardo's tyre popping shortly after, in general how close places 1-4 were the entire time.
and we were literally watching history too! youngest F1 driver to take home a win, and the first dutch driver to win too. so very happy for him and so very happy for getting to watch it live.
>>16703375
love that picture.
>>16703374
>vettel freaking out over ricciardo pushing on him
that made me slightly disappointed in vettel. it was just standard racing aggression, ricciardo did nothing wrong.
with the new aero rules next year, if red bull come out on top we could potentially see verstappen fighting for the championship which would just be incredible
>>16703380
same, unfortunately i can't find it in a decent resolution
found this picture with some sunglasses i haven't seen her wear before (although the pic is from 2013 i think)
>>16703383
>that made me slightly disappointed in vettel. it was just standard racing aggression, ricciardo did nothing wrong.
i don't think either of them did. it was just incredible pressure to get challenged this late into the race, it must really take a toll on your emotions.
>with the new aero rules next year, if red bull come out on top we could potentially see verstappen fighting for the championship which would just be incredible
i don't doubt it for a second, carabro! this was a brand new car and he immediately took it home, that can only mean good things.
as a sidenote, both the peugeot and haas liveries this year are gorgeous. some of my favourites from recent years.
>>16703390
>peugeot
i assume you mean renault
>>16703391
oh yes, my mistake. i always mix up the two frenchmen.
i'm in such a good mood today, somehow i don't even have a hangover from getting drunk and playing dota for 7 hours last night. no idea what i should do today though..
Hnnng. Got to fap to her
>>16703406
>no idea what i should do today though..
it's already 8pm... how much longer are you going to be awake?
>>16703410
probably a lot longer! we've got holidays this monday and tuesday so i can basically do whatever i want today.
>>16703413
noice. maybe climb a mountain and watch the sunrise from the summit? i would totally do that myself, but you know... no mountains
>>16703406
I ended up watching a few films and doing nothing productive with my time today.
>>16703415
well, vienna and mountains...
half my district is forest (try googling Lainzer Tiergarten) but it has a ton of wildlife and i'm not even sure if entry is free at the moment. good suggestion though!
i've also been meaning to go and visit Wotruba Church here in Vienna. beautiful brutal architecture.
>>16703416
i have so many movies on my backlog that i don't even know where to begin anymore. help.
>>16703422
I know the feeling.I just ended up going through my IMDB watchlist.
>>16703374
what an extremely comfy picture
and helloo
>>16703422
i absolutely love brutalist architecture. the interior of that place looks awesome.
i just read the wiki page for that church though, i always find it funny when a wiki page is written by someone who doesn't get the idea of encyclopedic language and they just write like it's a magazine article:
"a fitting blend of nature's beauty and one man's vision of a temple to God in today's modern world."
>>16703357
Cara is very cute. Very hot. She's like a drug. Also, nice thumbnail
>>16703425
hi carabro! how are you?
>>16703426
>i absolutely love brutalist architecture. the interior of that place looks awesome.
you and me both <3
it's mostly what inspired me to learn more about architecture, actually. my first love, if you will.
>i just read the wiki page for that church though, i always find it funny when a wiki page is written by someone who doesn't get the idea of encyclopedic language and they just write like it's a magazine article:
>"a fitting blend of nature's beauty and one man's vision of a temple to God in today's modern world."
hahaha, i noticed that as well. it's like someone's blog post.
>>16703431
my day has been great as my boy won a F1 GP
>>16703429
>She's like a drug
very accurate. i have a lot of different folders for celebrities but cara is the one i keep coming back to
>>16703436
I don't blame you. She's like an addiction
>>16703435
oh hey henk! yeah, this race weekend was awesome.
we need a new austrian driver. all the old farts at the top are austrian, but nobody's actually in the car anymore...
>>16703436
what keeps me coming back is /cara/. love you guys.
>>16703445
>what keeps me coming back is /cara/. love you guys.
likewise. i can't even imagine my life without the weekly cara thread now.
>>16703451
glad i can be here to make the thread (almost) every week for you then!
is 4chan slow as fuck right now or?
>>16703445
well at least you have the red bull ring which is great.
the records set today hopefully are going to last for a while
>>16703459
yeah it gives me 'connection error' sometimes when trying to upload a pic
>>16703459
>is 4chan slow as fuck right now or?
seems like a little bit of slowdown.
>well at least you have the red bull ring which is great.
true, great circuit. maybe i should become an F1 driver so i can represent my country :D
>>16703466
holy resolution
>>16703467
i love that sideways smirk she does.
thinking about getting a console just for forza or gran turismo, somebody stop me
>>16703482
might be a ps4,5 coming so it probably not worth it now if its even worth it ever
>>16703482
are they console exclusive? otherwise why not get them on PC?
>>16703490
well yeah, but usually that also entails a massive price drop on the hardware. the only problem is the playerbase keeps moving to the newest version of the game...
>>16703491
yeah, they are. PC already has the best racing sim and i play that already, but it's an indy game so it has only a fraction of the brand licensing compared to both console exclusives, and it lacks a lot of customization past pit setup.
i still think PC is the better platform for absolutely everything, but doesn't seem like i'll get a choice any time soon.
>>16703505
oh i see. well on console the only racing games i have are the GRID series (which I love), so I can't comment on either of the two you are looking at
[kstew interlude because i love her hair at cannes]
>>16703509
GRiD 1 was my shit, so many good memories with that game. i tried 2 and didn't really like it, and didn't pick up autosport because of that.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhNRweaZEkY
>>16703512
totally understandable re: grid 2, but autosport is fantastic. unfortunately the series never had the same popularity as gran turismo or forza, so the online lobbies are practically empty
>>16703513
yeah, that's another big problem with PC. it's really difficult to sort of unify the PC community into a common game franchise the way forza and GT do. you've got a lot on Assetto Corsa (my favourite), some on DIRT Rally, some on project cars...
wonder if pedro's gonna come hang out today.
i was in a thread about him on /r9k/ and apparently someone was looking for him, i told him to come here because he pops in sometimes it seems.
seems like a pretty nice guy to me.
>>16703518
inshallah
>>16703534
man, i didn't even see it as an arabic veil until you said that. the idea of cara converting to islam makes me shudder
>>16703538
think its a sign i definitely spend too much time on this website
>>16703539
i picked up a bunch of arabic phrases just from living in london. can't wait to leave this shithole of a country.
>>16703538
well, she did say she was "a bit of a feminist"(which hopefully means not the cancerous kind) so i doubt she'd convert to a religion with less women's rights :P
>>16703543
is it that bad in london? i've heard many stories like that.
>>16703543
sounds horrible 2bh
>>16703549
>is it that bad in london? i've heard many stories like that.
large areas of london are really really horrible. you probably wouldn't see them just as a tourist though
>>16703574
my impressions of London have basically just been tourism, muslim guys and supercars(that are owned by saudi oil trust fund kids).
i can only imagine the social effect that can have... thankfully i'm in a very good district in vienna or i'd be seeing that first hand too, especially with the whole refugee crisis happening.
>>16703579
what's the general attitude of austrian people to refugees/immigrants in general? is it similar to germany with the historical weight of hitler forever on their mind?
>>16703594
>what's the general attitude of austrian people to refugees/immigrants in general?
our "right-wing populist" candidate is about to win elections, actually.
both our and germany's politicians played an extremely dirty game and caused a media blackout about refugees until a day after the parliament election so he will probably fire everyone and force us to vote again in hopes that his party will win the new elections.
the hard left here believes the same "hereditary guilt" bullshit as the germans but it's very obvious that our country has had enough about having to read about murders, rapes, sexual assaults done by middle-easterners and north africans every single day, and i'm hopeful that we'll make it out of this.
sadly, the bigger problem is not them, the bigger problem is the european union. the only way to truly go back is to leave the EU, but we'll see about that soon i suppose.
needless to say that if he doesn't win then i probably won't watch this whole thing unfold from the inside for very long anymore, i'd probably get an exit strategy instead.
the entire thing weighs pretty heavy on my heart. i could tell you so many awful news stories but i really don't want to right now.
>>16703655
looks like she's standing really awkwardly
>>16703631
that was upsetting to read but thanks for typing it out.
it's really sad that after thousands of years of violence, europe finally reached a point of civility and peace, and now we're on the brink of throwing it all away.
>>16703658
think i cut the rest off don't really remember
doubt i cut her legs off now that i think off it that would be a bit rude
>>16703659
>that was upsetting to read but thanks for typing it out.
there's actually a ticker on twitter that collects reported crimes by migrants in germany and austria and posts the news.
last time looked at it, there were new posts coming in at ~one every four minutes. i can't follow that anymore, it will make me suicidal
>it's really sad that after thousands of years of violence, europe finally reached a point of civility and peace, and now we're on the brink of throwing it all away.
thank clinton and the rest of the rats in the white house for starting yet another proxy warfare and bullying people into submission.
speaking of which, clinton cannot be winning presidential elections. she's evil incarnate. i hope sanders runs as independent and splits the vote, because anything is better than her.
>>16703670
i haven't followed US politics very closely, why is clinton so bad? feel free to ignore the question if it's too much to go into now
>>16703679
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dY77j6uBHI
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uT68riwrFI
she lies about every single thing, panders as hard as possible, she's completely in the pockets of wall street and she's as much of a warmonger as bush jr, and she's already mostly responsible for the wave of destruction coming through europe.
Hey Carabros!
>>16703361
Are you excited for Monaco?
>>16703686
well, shit.
the older i get, the more i want to live in the wilderness and forget that the rest of society exists. but i would miss cara threads.
>>16703690
>Are you excited for Monaco?
extremely. this has the potential to become my favourite season ever if things stay as explosive as they were today. very stoked.
>>16703694
What's the situation for Monaco? That's the last race of the season right? I know nothing about F1.
Mercedes is the best now right?
>>16703693
>the older i get, the more i want to live in the wilderness and forget that the rest of society exists.
that's what Varg is doing, and i have to say, i have to agree with him..
seems like the only way to secure a future for your children is to become autonomous and self-sufficient, teaching them the morals you know to be right.
>>16703698
>What's the situation for Monaco? That's the last race of the season right? I know nothing about F1.
Monaco is race 6 of 21, so we're not even a third through.
>Mercedes is the best now right?
"yes". they're usually always in the lead, but both drivers took each other out today and did not finish, so we actually got a lot of great racing.
>>16703698
..the season only just started
>>16703694
doubt monaco will be great like spain was today, mercedes just need to be banned from the series so actual racing can take place
but monaco a shit so no-one can overtake and its just a high speed train
>>16703703
>>16703704
Thanks.
Why is Monaco so popular then? Just because of the cool setting?
>>16703698
monaco is not the last race but everyone recognises it as special because of the history and location. the race is usually quite boring though because the track is so narrow that nobody can overtake
>>16703704
>>16703705
>Why is Monaco so popular then? Just because of the cool setting?
pretty much. monaco is quite shit from a track perspective, but it's quite important F1 history and the setting is nice and recognizable for anyone.
>tfw nordschleife hasn't been part of the F1 roster for decades
>>16703709
>nordschleife
as awesome as that would be, i really don't think that would be safe with the current cars.
>>16703713
yeah, it would be incredibly unsafe. not to mention that niki would sell his soul to make sure nobody suffers the same fate he does. he's a great man.
still, a man can dream
>tfw german GP isn't even at the nürburgring
>>16703709
>>16703713
bit boring from spectator perspective too isnt it
>>16703724
>bit boring from spectator perspective too isnt it
in person, maybe just due to the sheer size.
on TV, absolutely not. just think of those helicopter shots...
>>16703706
>>16703709
Cool. So probably lots of beautiful people there and high dollar people huh?
>>16703734
yeah everyone brings their super-yachts into the harbour and it's basically a social event for the super-rich. mirubro has probably been.
>>16703734
>Cool. So probably lots of beautiful people there and high dollar people huh?
And cheese. don't forget the cheese.
>>16703748
*claps*
>>16703740
>it's basically a social event for the super-rich. mirubro has probably been.
haha, oh silly you. i don't even have a steady income.
>>16703738
>>16703740
>>16703748
How much does it cost to get tickets? Where do people watch it from?
>>16703760
hotel prices for the race weekend go up like crazy and a lot of people watch it from their balconies
>>16703751
to be fair, that is a very impressive cheese
>>16703760
there's multiple podiums you can buy seats to, i have no idea about monaco but the cheapest at the red bull ring were ~270€. no doubt they're completely sold out by now anyway, both monaco and austria.
[high resolution photo of cara sniffing cheese in front of an advert for a watch company]
