At least in my case there are no seams.
When you bend your fingers, the skin creases/bunches up. When you bent a joint in latex, the latex creases, grabbing bits of skin, and pinches them.
I try to use a reasonable amount of silicone lube to try to help the skin slide under to prevent pinching. I would imagine with none it would be worse. I have been advised that water-based lube would not be a great alternative to aid this issue...

And with almost naked ass and twerking and other stupid shit making it to television and with Katie Perry and other celebrities amking latex a part of their shows and fasion wardrobes, I can only see that latex is going to become more mainstream and accepted. While it sounds like great news for some, it saddens me in many others. I want it to stay more fetish than become more mainstream. You are right about it being a niche right now though, as it is still not very big, but ratehr big enough, compared to other fetishes.

That there is probably the cause of those nasty red lines, most of my catsuits are either .4mm or .25mm so they don't pinch as hard when they get rolled up as you move around.

Right fetishism and fashion are different, but it's still becoming popular nonetheless. I want it not to be. I say they are part of the porn idustry because although they are modeling latex, they do go nude in many sets so in technical terms, it's softcore at that, but a form of porn nonetheless. I use very little (only a bit at inner knees and elbows to try to reduce the red lines, and a tad across arms to get the sleeves to slide up properly). I chlorinated my catsuit, so it slides on relatively nicely :) I have much less trouble with shoulders than elbows for the red lines/pinching issue.

Latex never will become mainstream. It isn't a practical material for everyday fashion. It's far too prone to damage, doesn't breathe, and is way too form fitting for the vast majority of people to look good in it.
I've watched in horror as the tiniest puncture grows into a 2 foot long tear in an expensive latex garment in a matter of seconds.

To few people making the outfits. Competition is healthy for the market. Personally sick of overpriced items. GF and had same problem with the only local leather maker. Products were great but set prices were to high. We started making leather goods. Prices dropped and quality was still there. So personal I believe lets make it a bit more mainstream.
