Mostly I like how they look. All SUVs are pretty good now mechanically, so comes down to a lot of design preference. I like how the Cayennes drive, but I had one before and the design of them is dated - plus see so many of them where I live. I don't like a lot of the crossover stuff like Mercedes and BMW are doing.
I think I like that it is just an SUV and doesn't try to be a car. The seating is very upright, the interior is clean, it drives very nice. It's simple.

I bought my sister a BMW a few years back and hated the electronics in it. It was always dinging and bonging. The X series are probably great and might not have had the same problems as her 5 series with that, but it just kind of turned me off of the brand. Also that's another SUV I see a billion of here. i didn't even think of that, that's kinda shitty. especially because the audio driver on a smartphone is probably not nearly good enough to warrant high-quality headphones.
