I am having trouble with the HD800. It hurts my head when I wear it, giving me a bad headache. Is there a good hat I could wear that counteracts the pressure the headphones put on my head? Also will I eventually get used to the headphones and no longer get pain if I just keep wearing them? I would have to suffer through some bad headaches till then. Please help me thank you.

In my experiences with like ten different over-the-ear headphones, the pain eases after the first couple weeks. But if they're still hurting after that, then change something up. Although I'm surprised a pair of Sennheisers would hurt.

Replacing pads with velour pads is a very popular option, which might increase comfort and sound quality. Stock pads are often very bad, even on high quality headphones. Basically just get something other than pleather.

Wearing a beanie is probably the easiest fix though, and that's probably what I'd try first on a budget.
