The shit you see in movies and CSI is not how computers work in real life. There is no "enhance" button" anywhere.

not 100% accurate, if the source is a high FPS video it is possible to extract a pretty decent still image from an otherwise shit video. That being said the source has to be relatively still and you're going to want a few a hundred frames which is why its really only useful for astrophotography applications.
