Is there any speaking software out there that's kind of like vocaloid but is less, you know, anime?

I mean the vocaloid for gackt sounds pretty solid but everything else is mostly alts of a generic cutesy anime girl voice.

I'm going to be having characters speak in a fictional language so all I need is a range of syllables.
